  • Worst song ever but great runs

  • r u recording with a calculator?

  • Sounds like some horrible video game music!!!

  • lolz!! trying to tackle barry sanders, was like trying to tackle a ghost :-b

  • Hard to beleave he actually lost more yards than he gained in his career, not hateing, i love barry sanders.

  • @bigpayt1634 btw, he lost 950 yards in his carear, but gained 15.000... so i guess your just a fkn dumass

  • Best running back ever. cant wait for his son to be in the nfl

  • Good vid and Barry shits excellence but wtf is up with this poor excuse of a song. Please thumb this up so that people will know to MUTE this before watching because I couldn't even focus on Barry breaking ankles with my ears bleeding...

  • @jacoppedge lol

  • what a beast

  • 2yrs. after he retired teams were still trying to entice him to come back and play the Dolphins, and the Lions most notably did anyone try that with Emmett?

  • Checkout Keevon Harris of Warren,Ohio

  • gay musical selection

  • If barry sanders had played for the team that emmit played for there is no dought that he would have shattered every record out there and kept playing. Barry would have set a standard that no one would ever be able to reach except maybe another barry sanders but those are few and far between, its to bad he played for a messed up organization run by someone who should have stuck with cars and given the organization to someone who wanted to win....Like mike iletch

  • No doubt every play in the huddle for Barry went like this:

QB: Barry gets the ball. On two, break!

  • When the lions were awesome!

  • @RickMakesGoodVideos Barry Sanders was the one basically carrying the team himself.

  • How come ppl come on here talkin about Emmitt. If he was so much better you wouldn't need to come on here hating. This is BARRY SANDERS HIGHLIGHT,not EMMITT SMITH . And the only other back that even deserves an arguement is Jim Brown.

  • I cant believe Emmit Smith is in a higher spot than him. He was crap compared to Barry. I mean look at the Cowboys offensive line. Thats the only reason he was good.

  • curtis enis was way better too

  • matt forte is better

  • @nedshnible better than barry? really? that is one of the DUMBEST comments.....ever.

  • @nedshnible

    matt forte? LOLOL

  • I am just amazed at anyone would dislike this, much less ten people.

  • the thing you have to remember about Barry, YES he was FAST

Yes he could cut on a dime, but he was also, incredibly INTUITIVE as to what was happening around him. He could feel players movements and react to them so quickly that it was like lightening. Some of his cutbacks wouldn't have worked if they had been a milli-second earlier, or a milli-second later. He drops in on the edge every time.

  • Ok just finished reading some of the comments here. For anyone even bringing Emmit Smith into the conversation obviously is too young to contribute intelligently and does not have mental library necessary. I really liked Smith at Florida but he is not in the same breath as the backs i mentioned in my last post. I did not mention guys like Brown, Sayers, Motely, Hornung because i never saw them in real life.

  • When i was growing up I idolized Billy Sims. Little did I know Barrry Sanders would come around. I had stopped watching as much college ball in 1988 and I can remember taking a family trip to my uncles house in PA when my dad asked me about sanders' record setting year at OSU. I love Payton, Dickerson, Harris, Dorsett, Sims and Campbell but Bary Sanders is simply the most amazing running back i have ever seen.

  • Emmitt couldnt do 0:50 if he had 4 legs... Emmitt was a great hole runner... the difference is when Barry got a hole, it = TD, not a 7 yd gain... Barry was spcial and the best ever, followed closely by Bo, Brown, Payton, Dickerson... oh YEA!!!

  • barry sanders is the most elusive back iv"e ever seen.he is quite fast also,no one can create openings like barry,he is just simply amazing and imagine if his team was ever any good, omg he wouldv"e broken even more records.barry is one of a kind 4 real,4 real.

  • i don't care what anyone says Sanders was the best to ever play. He played fewer years than Walter Payton and played for a shitty team. So yeah that is what i have to say.

  • the man is a legend, his son looks like he has the potential and intelligence to be great as well. how do 10 ppl dislike this smh

  • @cocaine4breakfast best guess.. ahmm Emmit and his family ?..

  • im sorry i have to chime in.....barry is the better runner than emmitt but not the better back!!! Show me some highlights of barry blocking and ill show you ten times that with emmit!! Show me barry catching passes in the backfield and ill show you ten times that with emmit! lets not forget who has the second most touchdowns in this league! It's not barry ill tell you that much! how bout reception yards? Again...its not barry!

  • @risk87105 and how much LONGER did emmitt smith play? barry sanders retired after 10 years....why? he got tired of playing for a shitty team who was never gonna win a superbowl and would not release him. I wonder why emmitt has more td's and stats.....Dipshit

  • @Stonecold316Rules First of all there is no reason for name calling DICKHEAD!! and your not making a very good case for sanders talking about him retiring because he was on a shitty team!! Youre making him sound like a whiney little quitter!! last time i checked dallas was'nt doing too hot in the end but you didn't see emmitt quit did you? even after he got released and went to arizona he still didnt quit and that team was also awful!! I'm not saying Barry was a bad player.........

  • @Stonecold316Rules he was aan awesome runner and comparing these two is like comparing apples to oranges! As a RUNNER ...hands down barry was better, but as an all around back I give it to emmitt smith! he just didnt run, he caught a lot of bals and also did a hell of a job blocking!! You cant say Barry was a good blocker!! Everybody knows that!! Even people who is on barry's side knows that!! People want to credit the O line for emmits success and theyre partly right!....but don't forget....

  • @Stonecold316Rules emmitt also helped that Offensive line as well by his blocking and his running skills! They helped each other! In a way he was also apart of that offensive line and thier success!!!

  • if sanders had a good offensive line no one could have beat him! well except maybe the steelers because they are awesome

  • @MountainSnowBoarder steelers suck

  • nice video quality asshole lol jk

  • im not saying barry isn't an amazing running back (becuz he obviously is) but that is some shitty tackling by the other teams

  • @HollisterMan95 thats because no one could tackle him

  • If Barry Sanders would have played as long as Emmitt, Barry would have every rushing record

  • @clthompson1 and bo jackson would have destroyed them both in that sense

  • Sorry. Barry was fun and spectacular, but strictly a highlight film player. Worthless inside the 10, not a good pass catcher, less than average blocker. Turned many 2nd and 5s into 3rd and 11s. Payton could run inside, outside, run through tackles, run over people, catch & throw passes, leap over guys, and block. And he went forward. And, until the end, the Bears had NO passing game. Jim Brown was a fast beast. I'd probably take OJ and Earl Campbell over Barry, too.

  • The only rb I see in today's game that resembles this is LT. Lt is like Barry at 70% though

  • His stride is so massive. When he hits top gear he starts galloping improving his stride length and just burning everyone. That's something I don't see a lot from todays runningbacks but definitely todays players in general are faster. Chris Johnson for example can compare to Barry's overall speed(not necessarily agility or balance) so don't think I'm favoring CJ

  • i thnk every1 is 4getting walter peyton, he makes barry and emmit look like nothing

  • @MrSuperfly7 As a Cowboy fan, I still agree with you!! But I'm sorry , Jim brown is the greatest RB Ever!! What he did, he did it in 12 game seasons and retired in his prime! He was the best ever!!!

  • He made that whole Tampa Bay D look bad!!!

  • Barry Sanders could make something out of nothing type runs. Juke & spin his way out of trouble at any given time.

  • dont see the point in trying to compare Emmit to Barry, they were two different types of RB, Barry was the elusive type who if he found a hole he was gone kinda like LT in his prime, Emmit was the type to put his shoulder down and keep his feet moving and if he happened to break through everyone then he was gone, I dont know who to compare him to, in terms of break tackle ability I dont know Marshawn Lynch, Marion Barber, Frank Gore maybe, but trying to compare totally diff backs is pointless

  • @kid1111111 Jim Brown could break tackles. There you go :]

  • @sublime95 true, but Jim brown is an older generation, I was trying to compare Emmit to a todays RB, like Barry to LT.

  • @kid1111111 I agree! Finally, someone with some sense! and if you want to compare him to somebody, I'm not in any way saying Emmitt is Walter Peyton, but that's who he most resembles.

  • @risk87105 yah I agree with you, but again I was trying to compare Emmit to a running back of this eras NFL, like how I compared to Barry to LT, but i'm finding that Emmit is a little harder to compare to just one person I guess cuz there isn't many Backs in todays NFL that have both his break tackle ability and his ability to run, it seems like its either one or the other now days, I don't know man, I would compare him to a mix of Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch or something haha.

  • 1:17 haha he like left a mob of people on the floor

  • He's fast. But Jim Brown is way better. Jim could break tackles, juke and was able to score touchdowns he sometimes had no blocking.

  • I think we all know Jim Brown will always be the greatest.

  • @IamTheZ0han

lol he played for like 7 years and played in an easier era no he won't. The running backs of our time are alot better then the older ones due to hereditary and dietary improvements He would be great but not as good Barry is alot better but he will be surpassed

  • @crawdaddycon1990 How cn you say Jim Brown played in an easier era? Last time iI checked football had way less rules for the defense and could take you down with a face mask!! Sounds like he played in a harder era to me! Not to mention he didn't have as many games to play in a regular season like Barry did!

  • @IamTheZ0han Exactly.

  • @IamTheZ0han if by all you mean you and the idiot who told you that then yea. but you ALL can eat a dick cuz barry is the best.jim brown isnt even 2nd!!!Sweetness edges him out on the list too!!!

  • I'm more of a Payton fan myself (the Sweetness) but Barry was awesome, fo sure!

  • if hes runnin hes either gainin 50 yards or losin 20 yards

  • 0:53 that was a pretty beast pass

  • i hate the fags who say that barry was a quitter and a pussy because he quit on his team...he didnt he just was tired of playing for a record and other people, emmitt played for the stats...barry played for himself because he loved football...he just lost the desire in his heart

  • ok from 0.00 to 0.10 that had to be a 4 flat 40 yards, in a game situation...I've only seen gazelles and felines accelerate like that

  • @dawnerjames

ok after watching that...it was super human...B. Sanders rock-n the party, best ever!!

  • He was a human highlight reel.

  • Man, I remember watching that Tampa game... :15 - :52 ....those were TWO

80 yard+ touchdown runs in the SAME game. Only player in NFL history to do that!

Lynch later said about :38 ... that Barry was only player he ever hesitated to hit because he never wanted to be on his highlights !!! lol

  • if barry jus had a better team.....jus maybe

  • It's amazing how fast his mind worked. He would make 3 major reads and 3 decisions in 3 steps. And his steps were FAST.

  • sanders>smith

  • You know the funny thing to me is that I am a measly teacher with only a BA in a foreign language and a minor in Biology. It pains me to see how tremendously lacking in fundamental English skills some of the people in the USA are. I never even commented on youtube until after I saw your trash. Your stupidity drove me to take a little jab at you.

You are truly sick. I think you should seek a mental health specialist. I do feel compassion for you because you are a hurting puppy. Good luck !

  • @luschena - By the way the prior comment is reserved for @XtremeAthleticism.

  • @luschena I smell a troll......how bout everybody else? For a teacher with a BA you sure know how to pick your battles hiding behind a computer! Maybe if i was in English class or could give a shit I'd type better, but we're on youtube idiot talking about football, mainly Barry Sanders! Take that cracker jack BA you have and shove it! Maybe you'll dislodge that gerbil you have in there!

  • @XtremeAthleticism - You need a spell checker. You screwed yourself ! If you would like to associate me with someone else, then, please be my guest. I have no idea who ricardo is but you are really paranoid. I would be too , if I couldn't write on a second grade level.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - This site is for Sanders and his fans and apparently you have ruined other sites with your lack of ability to write and you blame someone else. Your site was hideous and I'm glad that the NFL closed it down. Don't blame me for your inadequacies.

To put things into perspective , in Barry's actual lowest output year , where he averaged 84.5 yards per game , it was better than Simpson's career average of 83.2 yards per game.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - In Barry's second worst season he averaged 84.5 yards per game based on his 16 games. If you include only the games OJ played in for his career 135 , you will see that he averaged 83.2 yards for a career. I deducted all the games that he missed.

Sanders played for 10 years and had 99.8 yards per game average. Why don't you count that up and see what is more impressive. By the way , the year that Sanders gained 1115 yards , he played 11 games, over 100 yds/ game.

  • You had a Jim Brown website and you did just what you are doing here. You kept about going on about OJ's few good seasons. You ignored that for more than half of his career he failed to gain more than 742 yards. His other seasons he gained 697 yards, 593 yards, 557 yards, 488 yards and finished his last season with 460 yards and 3.8 yards per carry.

Barry never had less than 1115 yards and that would be 975.6 yards in a 14 game season. His second lousiest season he had 1352 yds or 84.5 per game

  • @XtremeAthleticism - "You admit that someone got you there" after being caught in a lie. Look at the 1972 Dolphins, Csonka, Kiick and Morris and Morris actually did what you said. They ran for more yards than any team passed for.If your fact that was a lie wasn't based on emotion what was it based on? Stupidity ?

  • @XtremeAthleticism - This was a decent website until you ruined it.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - Why are you telling people about your problems? You can't write period and it is uglier when you curse.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - God, I hope you quit trying to write Xtreme ! You have posted this greatest season shit on many sites of other players just like you are doing here. Numbet 1 - OJ's career and yards per carry can't match Sanders or Jim Brown.

Enough said, we see your numbers, however you fail to see or recognize what anybody did better than OJ (run the ball) like Sanders ,Brown and Payton.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - I have seen this douchebag post this shit too many times. He gets all caught up in a few good seasons. I have never seen sites closed down like his. The NFL may have a rule against being stupid!

  • @XtremeAthleticism - Go away and run and hide - you have no idea of what makes a career. By the way, I still am waiting for your "Big Ben" video with your astute commentary.

  • With all due respect , Sanders was a great back. I agree that he had the best moves but actually I feel Jim Brown who was voted NFL player of the Century and Walter Payton were better all around backs. These two guys moved the chains better than anybody. I don't know about you but I like winning football games and if you control the ground game you usually win.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - If one notes Xtreme bases his silly opinions on 1 or 2 seasons and fails to recognize a career. He tried to slant his statistics and on his old site (shut down by NFL LLC) and erased anyone's comments he couldn't handle. He would then say that he won an argument . He mentioned the 1957 Cowboys, who did not play as a franchise until 1960 I wonder if he can erase this. His whole opinion is based on emotion, not real facts.

  • @XtremeAthleticism - Jim Brown had 51 more touchdowns in two less seasons. Jim Brown 1647 yards from scrimmage per season for a career. Simpson averaged 1216 yards per season for his career. The whole work is what counts and that is what is called a career. Lets see that means that means Brown averaged 35% more yards per season than OJ. Three of Brown's seasons were only 12 games and not 14. Jim Brown never missed a game. Walter Payton is second to Brown in yds/season for a career. .

  • without a doubt the best rb ever

  • check out the vids on my channel

  • bo jackson

  • E. Smith better than Barry? HHAHAHAHAHA.....

For me Walter P. was the best ever but Barry was simply AMAZING.

  • Barry Sanders single handedly accounts for what successful years the Lions did have during the '90s. Anyone who believes Emmitt Smith to be better is fooling themselves.

  • I miss watching that live on Monday night football!

  • Hm I think he is not even fast, but he make some NIIICE Drills.

    Thats important as a Runningback...

  • music doesnt fit with the video

  • Ah, John Lynch got so faked out!!!

  • @DaBEARS4real John Lynch himself said that Barry Sanders was the hardest player for him to tackle, especially in the open field. That just shows how great Barry Sanders is to make a tackling safety like John Lynch miss so badly...

  • Anyone who thinks Emmitt is better than Barry is obviously blinded by Emmitts achievements. I don't care if Emmitt won 10 superbowls, if you put him on the Detroit Lions and Barry on Dallas, Emmitt would have never won a SB, rushing title, MVP, or have the most career rushing yards because Barry would have all of them and more....and i'm a die hard Cowboys fan

  • @agipson1980 U're right, and I love both of them.

  • @agipson1980

    ONE WORD.

    WORD!!!!!!!!

  • @agipson1980 Yeah you're saying that because you're a fan!! Idiot LT is my favorite one and I think he's the best but he's maybe not. I'm just saying that because I'm a fan but on another point of view I really think Smith was the best... no one was able to bring him down

  • @agipson1980 well we never really got to see a great year by barry with a team he never won a superbowl because he was young and very stupid he left NFL cus he wouldn't get traded or released he would be very well known if he didnt just up and quit football

  • @agipson1980

Barry would have put the career rushing yard record, out of sight, even playing for the lions, if he played on for 3 more years. He walked away, in his prime, at 30, remember

If the guy was playing for the Cowboys for his career, he’d probably have rushed for 20’000 yards

  • @agipson1980 Even Emmitt Smith once admitted that his record would have been set by Sanders if Barry hadn't prematurely retired.

  • @agipson1980 i agree period

  • @agipson1980 you're absolutely right, cowboys o-line combined for about 20 probowls, Barry had only Lomas Brown at LT, the rest of that O-line was awful.

  • @agipson1980 Those are all could haves and should haves and, ultimately, didn'ts.

That being said, no one will ever make the same ACL tearing moves that Barry Sanders made. No Chris Johnson or Reggie Bush will ever make the same moves this HB did, and I'm a HUGE Chris Johnson fan. This man was like water, you know it's there but you just can't catch him!

  • @agipson1980 could Barry block? you think Dallas would have been as great as they were without Emmitt Blocking? How about playing hurt? Think about it! Like I said, Barry is the better runner hands down! Emmitt was the better all around back and I don't think Dallas would have gone anywhere without him! Can you say the same for Barry?

  • Emmitt Smith - 3 super bowl rings Barry Sanders -0

  • And I don't blame Barry one bit for retiring when he did- He was sick and tired of losing and of the Lions' ineptitude, as far as their building a championship team around him. In my opinon, he deserved better.

It wasn't Barry fault that the Lions were run by a bunch of assholes who did jack fucking shit to build a winner arond him.

  • @rayjr62

Yeah, you can only kick a dog soo many times while it's down before it either bites the sh*t out of someone or, it just goes all submissive and just plain gets tired of it and goes away. So true what you said about the Lions organization. Here it is, 2010, who are the Detroit Lions to this day?? Barry Sanders gave the Lions they're name..straight-up.

  • @rayjr62

Yeah, you can only kick a dog soo many times while it's down before it either bites the sh*t out of someone or, it just goes all submissive and just plain gets tired of it and goes away. • Cowboy 2nd String QB sitting on the bench- 3 super bowl rings. Dan Marino- 0. Super Bowl means nothing when it comes to a skill of a player. that means that the team is better overall. So that supports Barry Sanders even more. Thanks pal. lawl jackass

  • @wwc222 No it tells you what Emmitt meant to that team! I really can't believe you guys are using Dallas super bowls to make an argument for Barry being a better runner!! Are you guys listening to yourselves?

  • @nacho4195

So what. Again, put Barry on a contender with a half-decent offensive line, then we'll talk.

  • @nacho4195

So what. Again, put Barry on a contender with a half-decent offensive line, then we'll talk.

  • @77KevinBuller I'm listening to you guys talk about Barry being on a contending team. Don't you think if Barry was that great he would of made Detroit contenders? Where do you think Dallas would of been without Emmitt? HE MADE THAT TEAM BETTER!! You see the difference? I'm sure you still don't! If barry were on Dallas he'd have great stats but Aikman would of had twice the concussions he did because Barry couldn't block for shit! Can yo see the difference now? probably not!

  • @risk87105 That's the main words/sentence right there, you said it all. Barry Sander was NOT ON A CONTENDING TEAM. That's why personally (despite all the other obvious reasons) & other than Detroit sucking ass all the time; Barry just threw his hands up in the air & was like: "fuck it" ya know? Yeah, put Emmitt on Detroit and Barry on Dallas w/Aikman, Irvin, "The Moose", etc, etc, we'd all be having totally different conversation. Barry was a elusive back, Emmitt liked running over/blocker.

  • @77KevinBuller I just reread what i wrote to you and it seems to me that you took everything i said and threw it out the window and only heard what you wanted to hear!! Barry should of made Detroit contenders if he were the greatest of all time!!! but he didnt! Dallas wouldn't of won as many championships as they did without emmitt becase Barry could not block!! Period!! Without emmitt that team would of gone nowhere!! He made Dallas what it was!! A RB blocking is just as important as running!!!

  • @77KevinBuller what you dont realize is that Emmitt was a big part of that O Line!! They helped each other!! Emmitt was a prt of that line because he blocked so well!! You can not say that about Barry!! Hands down Barry was the better runner! But thats all he did! Im talking about an all around back!! Emmitt was the all around back, Barry was just a runner. Emmitt made Dallas what it was because he was an all around back! Emmit would of made Detroit better because of that!! Thats the difference

  • @risk87105 I agree with you whole-heartedly that Emmitt was a better "all-around" back due to his blocking. Do you think Detroit would have given Emmitt the tools & weapons necessary to make him happy? Unlike Barry. In my personal opinion (my "old man & I both agreed after watching Barry & the Lions get knocked out of first round of playoffs time after time), Barry Sanders was "The Detroit Lions" just like Emmitt was Dallas to you! Barry had to do it all himself, he carried the Lions.

  • @risk87105 Barry carried the Lions on HIS shoulders. Barry "WAS" the Detroit Lions. Barry didn't really get help that Emmit had But,(I'am not sure how many people actually realize this w/the game of football); football isn't like the game of basketball where you can put the ball in the hands of say like Michael Jordan & tell your runningback or any football star & say:"here you go son, take over the game!" Point is, football is more of a team game. Can't win a football game w/1 guy doing it all

  • @risk87105

LOL, you do realize barry had better receiving numbers than emmit right?

  • @splendid1000 lol i think you need glasses! Emmitt had more recieving yards and about 200 more receptions than barry did! Also barry caught passes in the back field which is more like run plays, emmitt actually went down feild and caught passes....and hung on to them!! Emmitt also had about 3,500 more yards from scrimmage as well!!

  • LOL i think you need binoculars! Barry had a higher yard/reception average, and a higher receiving yards/game average off an equal recep/game average. Emmit had more receptions(163 and not 200 lol) because he played 5 years longer than Barry! Emmit only had 300 more total reception yards in five extra years! Barry would have smashed that had he played 15 season! And 95% of Emmits catches were in the back field too. He had a couple downfield catches but he aint no Deshaun Jackson LOL!!!!

  • @risk87105 Barry - 352 rec 2,921 yards 8.3 avg . 3,062 rush 15,269 yds 5.0 avg 10 yrs Emmit - 515 rec 3,224 yds 6.3 avg. 4,409 rush 18,355 yds. 4.2 avg. 15 yrs

Barry retired in 1999, emmit's stats from 99 till he retired: 1495 rush 5,789 yds 100 rec 615 yards. Subtract that from emmits career numbers: 2,914 att 12,566 yds 4.3 avg. 415 rec 2609 yds 6.2 avg. In a ten yr span he had, 2703 less yds rush and 312 less rec yds. Emmit had a great oline and still couldn't reach Barry.

  • @risk87105 not to mention that Barry also is the all time leader in negative yds, 336 carries for -952 Yards. That would give him 16,221 yds. in 10 yrs. Walter Payton played 13 yrs and gained 16,726 thats a difference of 504 yds. He would broke the record and made it impossible for emmit to reach him had he played 2 to 3 more yrs.

  • @ Deworke212 YAY EMMITT SMURF!

  • Emmitt Smith had a line son berry sanders never had 1 and he had a final season with 2000 yds now what!!! And only played about 10 seasons if berry wud of kept on playin he wud of had untouchable rushing records BERRY SANDERS IS THE GOAT !!!

  • @Anklbraker10 agreed! he would of took the record!! Still doesn't make him better than Emmitt! makes him better as a runner and i have no problem admitting that! Still doesn't make him a better all around back than Emmitt! Show me proof of Barry blocking on a consistent basis and I'll be the first to admit I was wrong!

  • EMMITT

    EMMITT

    EMMITT

  • The robot runner

  • chris johnson isnt necessarily the best back quite yet. but he isin the top 2. if APs fumbles keep up, and CJ keeps up his 2000 yard season status then he will be after next year. a lot of you guys are saying CJ is only speed, but that is far from true. he is strong, elusive has very good backfield vision, and is patient enough to let his blockers set up the run. CJ is the most talented back in the league

  • yea true but chris johnson might be the next berry sanders the lions used to be awesome

  • Noel Devine is the next barry sanders.

But Emmitt is still the GOAT

  • barry sanders is the best

  • yeah your right 5.0 rush av 15000 + yards 2000 one season college heisman winner most 100 yard games but your right

  • No if's about it...what he did with what he had makes Barry the Man.

  • Best Running Back of All-Time!!!!!

  • dont get ur story twisted homeboi AP rookie year he runs 1300 yards solo ! CJ's rookie yr runs for 1200 sharing the load with lendale. cj snd yr he runs for 2,008 yards joining eric dickerson,OJ,Terrel, barry sanders as only backs to rush for 2k,oh he also broke faulks all purpose record. 2,509.and Earl Cambels franshise record. he averages 5.3 yars a carry vs AP 4.3 .. they are both great back but CJ is gonna be great .. he's added his name to list of greats in his 2nd year. cant deny that.

  • my bad i left jamal lewis .. you know what AP does hold the single game record of 296.. jamal charles almost broke it last he hit 259 by the 3rd qrt week vs broncos but asked tobe takin out to let other backs run.. and he they told him u could break single game record but he said ill do it some other time. lol Charles also became the only player in NFL history to rush for 1,100 or more yards in 200 or fewer carries. so charles might be better than AP too !! watch out !

  • @eakelle1 I certainly hope your were high when you typed this, the guy has only rushed for over 100yds like 4 times this year with the most lost fumbles in the league. True superstar there. LOL!!!

  • i will be the bset youll se ma name just watch,im serious

  • ur on crack

  • adrian peterson is a good player on a good team like boobs said, he has the juke abilities of Barry but the pure speed and the way he was able to go 5 yards back and get a td was phenomenal. A P is good but Sanders never had an Offensive Line.

  • ur an idiot barry sanders made a crap team win 9 games. adrain peterson is on a good team. he has never made professionals look stupid like barry. what an idiot lol.

  • Chris Johnson is wayyy better and im a pats fan soo.... i think the pats need a better running game....

  • hahaha, no chance,,,, Barry played on a SHIT team and still dominated,, you cant compare someone like Emmit Smith who played on a POWERHOUSE, or even someone like A P,, who isnt even the best back in the league today,,, Chris johnson is better than AP

  • @IRONSEAN7 AGAIN, WITHOUT EMMITT DALLAS WOULD OF NEVER OF BEEN A POWERHOUSE!!

  • no way, barry sanders is the best running back ever! He made the awful Lions a good team! If he would played on real good team, they would have won every superbowl.

  • no he isnt even similar

he is not the little RB like Barry that everyone is trying to chase around the field and cant get him on the ground no matter how hard they try

  • its funny how that scrub emmit smith has the all time leading yards. put barry on that dallas team and shit he would have at least a couple thousand more yards. fosho

  • Barry is the Greatest! There will never be another like him.

  • Barry was the most Elusive RB and most unstoppable because no matter how amny times yu stopped him he would break a big run eventually

this was because of his great stamina vision and Agility that we will never see agin
