Udyr Jungle (Tiger/Phoenix) Guide

Im newer to Udyr and I go Wriggles/Mads, Boots, Trini, (Frozen Mallet and Atmogs) <------ Situational his item is comp is so versitile its great. :)

I play udyr with 10-11-9 masteries ( just all jungle boosts u can get,+armpen)

I have AS marks armor seals AS glyphs and arm pen quints

I start with boots of speed and 3 hp pots if im in blue team to get fb on top

Otherwise i get vampire scepter

I take Q at 1 W at 2 E at 3 Q at 4 Q at 5 and rest depends on my role in the team

I build wriggles first mercurys 2nd( in some cases ninja)

and then go for trinityforce and atmas, if vs heavy mages i get force of nature or banshees

I win more than I lose

I would like to applaud you on very good video edict. No obnoxious music, a mic that is clear and easy for us to understand you, the game music was loud enough for us to hear, but not so loud that it ear raped us, and best of all you gave us a guide that did not waste our time with bullshit knowledge that we should already have. for the boots i pick ninja tabi or mercury treads(ninja tabi is better for my item)

because for example with ninja tabi u have dodge, but u have more dodge thx udyr's passive

trynity is not for udyr and buy the frozen and more life-steal for the beggening of the match

No boots of swiftness, mercury treads, even if they haven't got that much cc, getting stunned while attempting to whack someone is pretty much what is gonna stop u, in ranked and THEY got an udyr, ur support should be janna. Also when they got a nasus, just always get mercury treads, ESPACIALLY with udyr.

Phoenix, clear wolves, clear blue with phoenix, get turtle, get wraiths, hit 3times with phoenix, turtle and then phoenix again. Then double golems the same way, then red also, u might wanna get bear bcause u won't lv.up after red, if u get bear after double golems u can gank right after red very easily.

Reason why he had less is bcause he used pot WAY too late (on both) this is the old jungle as well so... My last comment applies to the new jungle.

Starting phoenix is faster, not more or less health, just better and faster.

Also, ur not using the fact small wolves spawn earlier, kill them when they spawn (1:40) then head to golem, if u re-cast phoenix ur done at 1:52, so u have 3 seconds to walk to ur blue. Not more or less health as i said, just faster. Cuz now u can do wraiths, double golems, redbuff.

I did a game where i was udyr jungle with tiger stance and i got off a LOT of successful ganks but one person on my team resented the fact that i used tiger in jungle... I dont get how phoenix can be better when the only good udyr is AD.

@TaintedBrownjuice (my opinion) fastest way to jungle is indeed Phoenix, but on fights, i think Tiger will exceed way more, and even in jungle, using TIger works, so yeh i use more Tiger.

i prefer stance dancing between bear and tiger.. stun crit stun crit also the run speed.

If you precharge your tiger stance at spawn and then go jungle, you can get an extra tiger proc on the first hit, and it's free :) i know it's not much but it's always something :P

Thanks for watching dude, Tiger is easier to start with, but by end game you want both at level 5, tiger will help you take down champs while phoenix is good for wiping out waves of creep. Not to mention stance dancing between tiger and phoenix.

Thanks for the great guide, I just bought Udyr today to jungle.  Which do you think is the safest way to start, with Tiger or Phoenix? Also, which is more beneficial to team play in late game?
