Superchargers on nitros is bs. The turbo needs to be under the carb not on top to get the full effect. You'd gain more speed and HP by tuning the pipe properly. Bring that car to San Antonio and you will be destroyed. That sure didn't look like a sub 1.6 second run to me and thats what it takes to win these days. Take that thing off and find someone to show you how to cut a boat pipe properly and I guarantee you'll be faster.

@leinachdaniel No need for that they put Koford on the tires. Super sticky. Some of the lower classes will do a semi burn out to warm up the tires but all the big boys rely on Koford for traction. Those tracks are super sticky. We used over 50 gallons of track prep at the Worlds.

@gleisom: Two strokes don't really need a supercharger. Get a bigger engine and a good rezo. Also try adjusting the airfilter pipe length.

@gleisom by rezo I meant a good resonance muffler and manifold. also make sure there are no leaks in your intake system. The smallest leak can end up in loss of pressure and poor performance. Also two strokes are very sensitive on the intake volume, try different length of intake tubes

depends on the engine. they rang from .12 to over .60

as for horsepower, i know that the K4.6 (.28) pushes around 2.5 - 5 hp. you can put airplane engines on these to for extremes

It's all about power:weight ratio, these could go faster than the real deal dragsters, depends on the power:weight ratio as i said. If somehow you got (and this is theoretically) a real dragster engine on one of those and (theoretically) the dragster engine was super light, then you could obviously depict it's going to go basically the speed of sound :P.
