I dont think that woman believe on what she just said. I think she had to do it because she had a debt to scientology (hopefully she has paid that out now). Its important to not see the people walking around on the streets as bad people, but victims from a big brainwash company called scientology. Matthew 16:17-19 sounds kind of popish:

that is a mans interpretation, Jesus did give Peter that power, and you can actually research in the bible how he used it. Acts is the History of the church and in acts 2:37-38 you can see what He (peter says ) we need to do to be saved. If God wanted a Pope he would have said it in the bible, Thus he stopped at bishop. He did not want a religous monarchy, why do you think that catholics went through that great split in 1050's, Why didnt paul announce a pope before his crucifiction?

The Pharisees took the the Scriptures literally in that if it wasn't in the Scriptures they didn't do it and outlawed anything which might give rise toslightest occassion to sin. I side more with the preacher than the Scientologist, and he makes some very valid points. But I'd rather see someone debate a Scientologist who can detach his or her arguments from a religious aspect. Otherwise, it's just arguing that "my religion is better than yours."

imo i don't think there were any churches to begin with, and imo i think churches were made for disciples of christianity, cathlocism, orthodox etc. to study their religious practices together. Church shouldn't be taken for something that's built there just for the sake of goin there every week. Everyone should be sharing their understandings and problems they have in life and together they should help each other to solve these problems.

If that scientology thing bout attking people is true then you should tell them that if they believe in valuing virtue then they should know not take revenge or attack people,it's one of the most basic things to know about having human morality.I believe that in this world there are three principles to follow,truthfulness,compassion and tolerance.If people do not have all three things then i don't think i can consider them good people,but it doesn't mean that they are beyond salvation.
