The last change I think Mrs. Sudarchikovi pulls down the top part of the dress and the white one falls down and covers the lavender one. But I could be wrong seeing as her arms go up when the confetti hits her.
If you look at the silver dress, the blue is a few shades lighter than the one she is wearing later. The blue in the silver dress is just the interior. What quick change artist would be stupid enough to do that?
if there are NO new artists that become from Fan to a " Star of its own", soon EVERY form of Art will disapear! Example: Las Vegas hat the Showgirl as an Icon for decades, nowadays there are only TWO big productionshows left of its kind.
So let's be gratefull that artists like David and Diana keep the Quickchange shows ALIVE!
I Bett, without their performance on Televison, millions of people would not even KNOW that this kind of shows even excisted :-)
Actually David and Dania aren't the only ones. This couple's son and daughter-in-law also does this act, A Quick Change couple from Las Vegas: Nina and Nikolai performed on 30 Seconds to Fame about 5 years ago. And a Quick Change couple from Germany: Lex and Alina.
Even with all those Quick Change Artists some people still don't even know they exist. Like David and Dania, they have over 25 million hits on YouTube and some people are just discovering a video of their audition act on America's Got Talent
About a hundred. 4 hours long. Mainly magic broadcasted on Italian TV. So there are all small segments to check and (unfortunatyely..) my tapes are not indexed...
The man hides the gloves. Thats not hard to work out. Very fast with the hoop but it's done the same. 4.15 the bottle went into his tux. it's amazing what can fit within clothes. THe circlar box one uses trap doors and there might be a hole in the sheet (trap door at back with hole.
The gloves were never hidden, they're specially made color changing gloves. The bottle is called a Nielsen bottle which is specially made to somehow disappear. There is no trap door. it's called escape change.
Since I'm not a magician I'm not sure. And if I knew I wouldn't tell you, to respect the magicians. Anyways it's not likely you will believe in real magic.
lol if your bnot a magician then how can you be sure they didn't use trap doors. People can't teleport you know. They can't move though solid objects.
Actually if they find a way they can. One Japanese scientist has a theory that people may actually be made out of nothing. But what he really means is that there is space even in solid objects. If you saw a diagram of an atom you will see that there is space between the electrons and the nucleus of the atom.
Them spaces are a bit small though sdon't you reckon. Watch some videos of glass magic sets (to show you how to do it) people have to move very fast through allmost invisible doors.
Quick change is based on many other magic perfomances out there. I think you underestimate how good magicians really are. THe concept is simple but the magicians turn it into something far beyound the word.
The bag in the box probably has a slit on the side. The exit door to the box is facing away from the audience. As soon as the lid is closed the lady steps out of the box and crouches down. By the time the guy stands on box & pulls the cloth up she's already up at his feet. They simply switch places.
What are you talking about? The camera does NOT show you that particular trick from the vantage point of the orchestra and the live audience cannot see from that angle. It's a standard trick that many magicians perform. I noticed that you seem to nest here deflecting comments from everyone. What's your take on the trick? Nevermind, people just look up the patent. It will ruin the fun but if you want to know any secret behind a trick just look it up.
Too late I have already deleted the link of the patent on Wikipedia. Why do people have to solve one of the best magic tricks? Only solve them if you wanna become a magician. Even though there isn't a camera view of the orchestra's view, they would start revealing it if they really did see them switching. The live audience is in a semi circle, so the ones on the edge would give them enough angle to see her crouching down. They aren't just in the front.
I know the audience is in a semi circle and I'm sure they can't see them crouching down from that angle. As for the orchestra, I'm sure they are part of the crew and wouldn't be surprised if they had to sign confidentiality clauses given the situation. These days magicians have many assistants and big crews helping out on the shows so tough luck keeping a trick completely secret to everyone but the magician. That's what contracts are for.
It's not a therory, LOL. That's how most people actually do the trick. Of course it doesn't prove that it's exactly how THESE people are doing it. But logic dictates there's an opening in the box so the guy can get in while the girl is standing on it. Logic also dictates if the bag is still tied AFTER guy gets in it either someone climbed in after him to tie it OR it was never untied to begin with and there's another way in.
I know your game...you're here to cast doubt to preserve the sanctity of magic. You did not adress what I pointed out about the bag and the box.The reason why I think the trick was done as I said is I've seen a reveal on the SAME trick but it did not involve this particular duo. I left room for doubt only because I know each magician likes to make a trick their own and may not present it Exactly as another one does but the principles of the trick will remain very similar. Correct if I'm wrong.
You are still pretty much wrong. The way you described the trick only works if the audience was in front of you. It won't work if they are sitting at an angle where they can see you. The one you described is only for stage magicians with the audience in front of them. The Sudarchikovis, David and Dania and Nina and Nikolai perform in rounds where everybody can see them. This video doesn't have an audience behind them, but in other places there would probably be audiences behind them.
Anyone can see that there is no audience on immediate stage left & right in this video. The stagehands appear from offstage to collect & set up props. Are you saying normally they would hobble on and off an arena stage, rather than a thrust like this? In order to say I'm wrong you must have an alternate idea. You won't say it because I think your purpose is to stop people from figuring it out. Your pattern has been the same whenever anyone gets close to the truth. I've said my peace.
Some magicians have their own ways of doing that trick and it's unlikely it's a trapdoor. I still say it is another way of doing it as the audience at an angle would see them couching down. Also there is an audience in the immediate right and left of the arena, watch the parts where the Sudarchikovis do the tape recorder trick disc. They have shots of the audience on the immediate right of the screen. The audience fills about 90% of the stage, the rest of the 10 is where the stage hands are.
(*disc trick.) There is a likely alternate idea to the trick, but that idea is harder to figure out. Also during the liquid to scarf trick in the bottle, there is a very wide shot of the whole arena and the audience is very close to the edge, enough to see the woman crouch down. What I'm trying to say is that the Sudarchikovis don't use trap doors for the switching trick, but other magicians do.
Weren't David and Dania first known as Magical Transformation? I had heard that they "borrowed" much of their act from the Sudarchikov's. This art dates back to the 17th century. They just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Brachetti is best.
Yeah I think David and Dania were known as Magical Transformation at first. Their act looked alot like the Sudarchikovis because they were the first ones to do it the Russian Style. I think the Sudarchikovis may have started a trend. Brachasshole is good because he doesn't use the Russian style of Quick Change which was invented by the Sudarchikovis. The dumbass uses the old Fregoli Style, which was started by Fregoli in the 1800s.
whilst this thread concerns the originality of David and Dania's act (also copied by Lex & Alina & Keylan Leyser) let's not forget the genius from all who quick change stems. The man who re-invented quick change and who is still the greatest quick change artist alive, Mr Arturo Brachetti.
Absolutely! Arturo Brachetti is absolutely amazing! You cannot say to have seen quick.change until you have seen him. Nonetheless I think that this act is older than Arturo's . His first tv appeareance was on an evening show for the Italian tv titled "Che Combinazione" in 1981. The show featured his original act he used to do at the "Paradis Latin" Music-hall in Paris. It was with only six personages and he was very young at that time (I think 18). If someone is interested, I can post it
Hi, would love to see it if you can post it. This act is older than Brachetti definately and there are other documented references to quick change before him but I would say he re-popularised it and even to this day,you never see a quick change act with the beauty and theatre of Brachetti. His stage presence and flair is so magical....always reminds me of Cirque Du Soleil.
Yeah but Arturo uses a different style of Quick Change than David and Dania, Lex and Alina, and the Sudarchikovi's. Arturo uses metamophosis of Quick Change. The Quick Change couples uses the Russian style invented by the Sudarchikovi's.
I think the Sudarchikovis Sr. have already retired. They were at least over 50 on this video. You can still watch other Quick Change acts like the Sudarchikovi Jrs. which are their son and daughter in law, David and Dania from America's Got Talent, Nina and Nikolai from Las Vegas, and Lex and Alina from Germany.
Thanks Bartimpson..I really think David and Dania should of won, the one judge was such a ahole to them when they are so incredible. I sure wish I knew the secret. Where do the clothes go to when she changes? I mean she goes a short dress to a long one! It is a mindblower!
Do you have more videos of them? Because I've seen different pictures of them. I've seen pictures of Mrs. Sudarchikovi chaneg from a red/pink to a white dress.
I'm quite sure I used to have another performance of theirs with the russian circus, but I cannot remember where I saved it. I will do a check and if I find it I will post it here.
this one is nice, too.how they do it.
