It will take time for people to grow to it. It took me a while to accept Derrick to the line up. Against fell short from the traditional Sepultura caliber, but got its grace back with Nation. New fans would embrace this band better than us who GREW UP listening to Sepultura.
@bikibaws I don't believe racism has anything to do with it...just simply, the Cavalera brothers INVENTED Sepultura. Andreas started out as their roadie, his being in the band was all thanks to the Cavalera's in the first place, otherwise he would still be tuning guitars back stage today. I agree with you that Paulo and Andreas deserve respect, they were there through Sepultura's most successful albums to date...but slamming Max and Igor is simply ignorant, without them it wouldn't exist.

@bikibaws You can't tell me you think this era of Sepultura is better than the Cavalera days. Don't get me wrong. It is still good. The new line up is just awkward. It will take time for people to grow to it. It took me a while to accept Derrick to the line up. Against fell short from the traditional Sepultura caliber, but got its grace back with Nation. New fans would embrace this band better than us who GREW UP listening to Sepultura.

@bikibaws I don't believe racism has anything to do with it...just simply, the Cavalera brothers INVENTED Sepultura. Andreas started out as their roadie, his being in the band was all thanks to the Cavalera's in the first place, otherwise he would still be tuning guitars back stage today. I agree with you that Paulo and Andreas deserve respect, they were there through Sepultura's most successful albums to date...but slamming Max and Igor is simply ignorant, without them it wouldn't exist.

@bikibaws New Sepultura is not for the old fans. It is a different music altogether. Yes I am a Cavelara brothers fan and to me the sound they created is The Sepultura. I am not looking down on the sound of new Sepultura but it is just not what my brain looks for, when it reads the name Sepultura. Igor and Max are the REAL Sepultura. I am not a racist and I am not getting over it, I simply listen to old Sepultura songs and don't care about the new ones.

Well one thing that u all have to realise is that Max contributed very much on the music of sepultura and not on the vocals only, derik greens vocals for me are even better than max, but the music is not the same and this happens because max is not in the band
