  • Charlie is one of the few financial journalists to actually report objectively about Wall Street. Most of the other "financial journalists" are too busy kissing the bottoms of obvious frauds to get to the truth.

  • That was bizzarre!

  • Charlie Gasparino is a legend in his own mind. Plus, he's a borderline alcoholic.

  • Comment removed

  • charlie is becoming a PRO WALL STREET KINDA GUY...im sorry to see that, he and dylan could have been asttack dogs for mainstreet in our class war...charlie broke free of the blue collar prison, i wont get on his case, goombah.

  • charlie is the new don imius,,,,,imus has no teeth and is totally brainwashed.LOVE CHARLIE OR NOT,,,HE IS ALWAYS SURPRIZING AND OFF THE WALL, A LOOSE CANNON AMONG THE SCRIPTED BRAINSWASHED GROCERY CLERKS AND BIMBOS OF CNBC. RATIGAN IS A CLOSE 2ND.

  • Charlie Gasparino = Douchebag.

  • Gasparino was on the phone from home and he sounded drunk again. He would not shut his MOUTH and continued to talk over Steve Liesman. I wrote CNBC and told them to FIRE hia azz...I also told them to come to YOU TUBE and see Charlie talking he aint got what he got...He gets paid to booze it up and talk chit...

  • Gasparino is one of the only credible - on air reporters CNBC has left.

When Gasparino leaves - CNBC's credibility goes with him. At least there's one guy out there searching for answers in a world thats completely askew with liars, cheats, and downright sell-their-own-mother-to-fuck-for-money Wall Street types.

Gasparino is a voice of reason in a chorus of chaos

  • Gasparino is a fucking moron. Anytime he comes on I reach for the mute button.

His reporting is third rate and his bias is evident. Not the sign of even a mediocre reporter.

    Suck it chuck.

  • I completely agree - he's obtrusive and unmannerly.

Charlie seems to confuse his biased, dilapidated journalism "skills" for mindful analysis... and his ego is simply insufferable!

to all the people below that are criticizing Dylan - while you are entitled to your opinion - I think you should at least answer one question: Is Dylan not intelligibly thorough and critical when discussing or addressing an issue? I don't mind hearing Dylan; he's not as pushy and obnoxious as Assparino.

  • Yes. Dylan is not intelligent, thorough and/or critical. He asks the wrong types of questions entirely and has a poor understanding of the financial markets.

  • haha seriously? ah what the heck Id much rather listen to cnn sell all the lies that dylan exposes.

  • Dylan has some responsibility to AT LEAST ask an intelligent question.

Why not replace 'What You Got?' with something of content:

Whenever 2 companies merge, 1 management team survives, who is likely to win in the MER-BAC case?

Many people on Wall Street are scrambling to secure their jobs, has that anxiety reached the C-Suite at MER and/or BAC?

In my humble opinion, Dylan blew this one big time!

The real question is Dylan, what have YOU got? What are you bringing to the table?

  • "What ya got" is hostile and abrasive. It should be more like "Sir, Charles, what light may you bestow upon those of us who do not know?" That would be more appropriate for a definitely NOT self-righteous Gasperino.

    but seriously,

He could have taken "What ya got" in the light, sociable way that I assume it was intended. His arrogance is preposterous.

  • watch his show. hes got what you dont have.

  • Dillon never gets tired of hearing himself talk. I listen to CNBC on XM radio. I can switch channels while he is talking, come back 5 mins. later and he is still formulating a question. What a tool!

  • Guys like Gasparino are out there working the trenches, making calls, and diggin up info all day, while guys like Ratigan just parade around in front of a camera in a suit reading off a teleprompter..and dickhead just says "Whadaya Got?"

I don't blame Charlie for reacting the way he did.

    Fuck Rattigan.

  • Not a close election again!!! Find out why you should be very concerned at Musicians4Obama, and pass it on!

  • When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro... Hunter S. Thompson

  • Got Drugs! that's what u got in SPADEs! freak...

  • Heard he had to sell his rental castle outside of Paris. Very tragic.

  • He didn't like "what do you got" and reacted pissy. Po Baby, what a terrible life.

  • Drank during lunch

  • Charlie is one of the best analyst in the biz, no doubt. Looks like he was particularly bothered by the way he was led in. He refused to answer any questions as a way of protest almost. Make no mistake he always has a new angle on every story and I doubt he was high on drugs although he did seem power high.

  • Was Gasparino trying to do a Sonny Corleone

    "Godfather" impression on drugs?

  • Gasparino always has his nose up Stanley Morgan's CEO John Mack's arse.

  • I should watch it again, missed it live. But first thought, I'm guessing the lawyer/editor in the control booth said you can't report what you got.

So now its insider info at GE and Wall Street insiders. But thats just an uninformed opinion from a guy in booth in the midwest.

  • What's the frequency Kenneth?

  • Someones is riding the white horse down Wall Street...

he's had moments like this before though, very combative person, irrational behaviors, yep he needs to pee in a cup real soon...

  • who is more annoying?....Dylan or Charlie....both may need to pee in a cup

  • This is what steroid use does to the brain.

  • Somebody frisk Charlie for weapons. Better to be safe than sorry.

  • He is smashed

  • Somebody from GE should just fire this dufus already. Gasparino is just as big of a clown as Jim Cramer.

Do us a favor and step out in front of a 4 train.

  • He had too much to drink. It's obvious

  • They should have immediately cut to commercial break.

  • See my other comment first. Then Charlie G's answer is meant to tell Dylan that he should cut away from him and "shoot to the capitalist system" because he doesn't have anything to offer at that moment.

"I don't got what I got" might mean that he knows something but he can't share it due to editorial concerns (not corroborated, inside info, etc.), or maybe he just wasn't ready (or was drunk).

  • my interpretation of Charlie's "i got what i got" is "I'm a total asscunt"... he's a tricky one to understand!

  • "Shoot TO the capitalist system" is what Gasparino says. In trying to get Charlie G. to hurry up, Dylan says right before that that he has a "capitalist system" (...to report on and presumably can't wait for Charlie to finish being vague and elusive).

  • Sounds like he had the SIX martini lunch! LOL

  • whats wrong with him

    Hello from FSX

  • Drunk!!!!!!!!

  • hahahaha what a dopehead

  • hahahaha

  • jerk off
