@foodfast123 No frame blending. The clips are shot in 210 and 420 fps, that's why the slo mo is so smooth. If it was shot in 24 fps, you would have to apply frame blending to get the same look.
i was just wounderingabout this camera. im intending on buying it mainly for the high speed video. only in its spec it says 4x AA batterys! my gues is it will eat them so fast and like with my other camera i had to keep buying powerfull batterys every time i used it. how do you go about it and how long dose it last? thanks
that is an awesome looking camera, i'm jealous! as far as light, it would be the same for any camera. the faster the shutter speed the less time there is for the image to be exposed, so you need more light to compensate.
I just bought one and was wondering how did you record vid from regular mode to slow-mo as it is shown in at 1:33 of this vid? Every time I put it in HS video, it records in slow-mo immediately.

Did you use frame blending? Or is it just an effect that the camera applies?

use rechargeables, i suggest around 2000 mah or higher. i use 2500 mah and which last for ages and will save you a lot of money in the long run.
check out my slo mo robin video

that is awesome. i finally figured out the 30-210 too :D
disgustingly awesome camera...i wish it didn't require as much light for the high speed vids though.
