Any odinary 5th generation or 4th generation plane could beat that. An F-14 goes mach 2. An 15 goes like mach 2.5. AN SR-71 GOES LIKE WHAT 200 2500 MPH? I dissagree a eurofighter could easily win.

@MINIGIGIBuffon The SR-71 goes at that speed on the edge of the atmosphere where the air is at its thinest which is why it can reach such high speeds it also has 2 engines larger than the eurofighter engine, but you are right a fighter plane will or "should" go faster it doesnt have the resistance from the ground that bloodhound will have

@ajaxm13 Ha ha ha ha. Ummm, nope. The team director is British, it's built in Britain, the driver is British, the car is tested in Britain. It is an entirely British project. Perhaps the American press are telling Americans that it's from their country because it's so awesome.... but they're just lying. lol.
