@Jasonmcintyre2007 His Dad was a preacher but Charlie never became one. He was torned between The Blues (Devil's music) and the Church something that caused him great pain throughout all of his somwhat short live span. Although he did preach here and there sort of,part time.

@JesseMathews thanks. after a second listen i can hear that its charley's slide playing. the first time around i thought he was being accompanied by a fiddler.....like a one string fiddle....similar to the old big joe williams recording of 'baby please dont go.'
