Is it easy to turn it on and off so you can turn it on only when you go out?

@hawaii1628: Yes, the camera has to run through a computer using a desktop client. The computer has to be running (on) in order to run the iCam client.

Do I have to hook up the camera to a computer? Or it is using wifi for data transfer? Does the computer has to be on all the time? Thanks
