  • Oscar Wilde quote: the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Apparently, dems can't do sleazy things- but repubs, who preach phony values all day long, can cheat on spouses, sleep with hookers, and they are just fine.

Orwell would be proud of us.

  • could you imagine a dennis kucinich and anthony weiner white house?

  • The knee touch is at 4:35 everyone!

  • @larryjohnny Gay marriage, good for some gays, hurts all children.

  • @RoboSlater Bad parents are what hurts all children, there have been gay people since the beginning of humanity and guess what the world continued spinning.. Do you think gay people just appear out of the blue as fully grown adult.. they all had a mom and a dad at some point, so i guess straight marriage can make someone gay too? Your argument is not logically sound, please delete your post or revise it!

  • @larryjohnny how did this video become about faggots, piss off dick

  • @jopeon1983 my bad, I deleted that comment.. I love all people and things, no discrimination only skills should determine your place.. I just can't stand these two propaganda heads, shills 4 da rich!

  • @RoboSlater how do you know? Is there documented proof ? If there is I will change my opinion, but don't just talk out of your ass.. sorry for the pun..

  • Fox and Friends went to the same school George W. Bush went to.

  • Look at your comment. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through comments, finding the ones that your comment could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's a highly effective counter-troll. Look again, MY COMMENT NOW HAS MANY THUMBS UP.

    I'm on a Laptop

  • I hope he runs for Congress again. I'm a little upset the Democrats pushed him out, but it was for the best of the party. When things chill, I want him back in that Congress.

  • @Seedofwinter And bring back John Edwards too. And dig up and bring Ted Kennedy back from his urine-soaked grave.

  • "Did you just touch my knee? I think I enjoyed that" LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • During the interview fox runs "VOTER OPPOSITION ARE LAWMAKERS LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE?" at the bottom of the screen.

If you are a news channel, report the news... so blatantly biased.

  • They keep saying how much public opposition there is. This is a news channel. I guess they figure if they keep saying it, people will oppose it.

  • These fox dudes are morons...period!

  • this is a world without justice, and tony wieners only "crime" is in attempting to bring some

  • @ddvs2012 testify brother!!!

  • Noticed that 201 people like Weiner bringing up the lies of the GOP. Only 7 people are Republicans who can't stand the fact the their lies have been brought out into the open!

  • @jrwel14 Notice how much of a dumbass you are. People are making fun of weiner, liberals and you. Please keep on replying. It is a real hoot.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE I am a TRue conservative, support Ron Paul. weiner has conviction and ideals whether u support him or not. hardly what one can say about the big spending republicans who hide behind their phony morals and bibles

  • @newjerseydev Oh ok....you support the space keydet who can't keep his parties straight. One minute he is a libertarian and the next a Republican. Let me know how that works our for you, skippy. True conservative....bwahahaha.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Ron Paul was a republican when republicans were republicans. this group of republicans are a bunch of big spending neo con war mongering rights snatching anti constitution corporatists. when u understand exactly who ur voting for then write me. until then ill continue to understand the difference btwn dems and the GOP. dems tax and spend,. GOP spend and charge it

  • @newjerseydev Ron Paul has always been a space cadet. The idiot tried to make his own money as legal tender. The Liberty (Ron Paul) Dollar. He got shut down by the US Mint and the FBI for breaking the law. Then when the crap hit the fan...he didn't have anything to do with it even though his face is on the Liberty silver token he contracted a goof to make. Sure is funny that the money made on it financed his run for Prez last time. Space cadet Paul is a joke.

  • @newjerseydev Tell you something...I am a conservative 110%...but I don't lump myself in the same category as the space cadet paul does. He is a major goofball and has NO chance of winning any national office....God help us if he did. Just because tea partiers think he is sliced bread don't impress me. A better choice for the tea party would be Michelle Bachman. At least she is not an idiot and I would support her.

  • @newjerseydev And you can source the Paul dollar story from "Coin World" when it happened a few years ago. All Numismatists have know what Paul is for years....a major space cadet. Hope his son Ran is not the same as he is. God help those Kentuckians.

  • @newjerseydev OMG...I have been replying to a UK liberal who knows nothing about anything. You take care of the dental problems and the sticking your hand out for freebies from America problem in the UK and Conservative Republicans will take care of the greatest country on Earth....the USA.

    "Nuff said.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE I am a liberal because i support Ron Paul? Born and raised in the US, just happen to live here and youre wrong u dont live in the greatest country on earth. The UK is far superior in every way possible. I love it here! Great system, smart people and recall asshole it was our dirt, the poorest irish and downtrodden immigrants that settled in your country.youre pseudocon puppet that supports big spending and charging it.youre about as conservtive as rachel maddow.nuff said

  • @newjerseydev You tell 'em, liberal trash.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE my guess by your rambling is your either a self hating negro or a hillbilly living in some cave down south.fuck off&keep thinking ur country's the best.10X more people incarcerated per capita (u understand per capita retard?) than the UK,5 X the HIV PER CAPITA, 6X the murder.the rates almost the same as it is up north as its down south, when theres a GOP moron in power or that idiot obama. in your world there r only Libs and Cons.Shows how ignorant u and ur kind are. now fuck off

  • @newjerseydev You tell 'em, liberal trash.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE

hey buddy in case you didnt notice just beaking people doesnt improve anything it just knocks you back a notch, much like what is happening in America right now. no teamwork, no focus, just a surplus of selfish and small-minded politicians who do not care about the country only about their reputation. this goes for democrats and republicans who are both equally to blame but republicans do get a more negative rep because of unintelligent people like who you spew nonstop rubbish.

  • @Tabletop1000 Here is a crying towel to wipe the liberal tears from your eyes. Weiner, your hero, is gone and you don't know how to spin it in order to make your hero look good. Attacking superior intellects is not the way to go, loser. Boo hoo boo hoo and waa waa waa waa.

That is the ONLY fact pulled from your reply, loser.

    Anymore spin cycle??

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE

I don't see any birds around so why are you setting up a scarecrow? I never defended Weiner, what he did was wrong and it was smart of him to resign to take pressure of the Democractic Party, taking away the only solid attacking point Republicans had on the party; that, and the President's birth certificate, which was an extremely low blow by the way. On topic, the Republicans could gain ground by looking at the numbers and admitting that current healthcare does *not* work.

  • Republicans are full of lies.

  • Even with what has happened to Weiner recently. He's better than any Republican-tea party.

  • Yup! an honest liberal he is!! HAHHAHAHAH!!!

  • @mgallant01 More so than any conservative. HAHAHA!

  • Those 2 stupid clowns didn't have much to say. Weiner's great.

  • @sabbathtribute lol i idk what video u were watching but those ''2 stupid clowns'' responded evrytime weiner spoke

  • Comment removed

  • love how they evade the topic by talking about a fucking tie....lawl.

  • @holyswordsmanoffaith actually they never evaded the topic since they were on it for 5 min of the interview and the topic was over by that time and he got them started on it early with a gay comment that he touched his leg

  • @iDropShot856 not quite what I got from it, at cetain points they start just talking about random things like headlocks, and ties, and so on so forth. Regardless, not here to start a flame war, just here to view, and laugh.

  • WEINER FOR PRESIDENT!

  • I'm seriously in love with this guy! Damn I wish he had a different name though, haha.

  • VOTE YES IF YOU BELIEVE YES, VOTE NO IF YOU BELIEVE NO. REPUBLICANS NEEDS TO LEARN WHAT THIS MEANS.

  • @kr4yzi32k LIBERALS need to learn that dead people, prisoners and convicted felons shouldn't be voting. LIBERALS need to learn what this means.

  • These 2 Roody-poo Gop jokes....

  • "Did you just touch my knee? I think I enjoyed that." *Continues on with his point*

Anthony Weiner is the most epic politician to ever exist!

  • @boricuamm707 Very nearly. Sorry, but Teddy Roosevelt still beats him out for taking a bullet and finishing his Trust Busting speech XD

  • Love this guy!!! :-)

  • The People Need The Same, Health Care. As The People Thay Elect.......

  • How much fun is this making video's .. When you have time come visit my channel!

  • How much fun is this making video's .. When you have time come visit my channel!

  • Weiner 2012 please. Make it happen!

  • the guys on fox are clowns

  • "da da da dat wuz .......duh duh dat da presdent tryin' to quiet down Lamar Alexander, yuck yuck yuck."

  • Man, these guys are idiots.

  • Rep. Weiner: *Long diatribe about compromising perfection for the good*

    Buffoon: "That's a great tie"

    sigh....

  • "did you just touch my knee. I think i enjoyed that"- other guy scoots over lol.

  • Anthony is sharp, these other guys are BUFFOONS.

  • Weiner 2016

  • WEINER FOR PRESIDENT !! dump Obama he betrayed us for the corporate wealthy elite

  • @xadam2dudex Can we please Primary the President? There are so many other great candidates!!

  • Why is Weiner asking for a waiver for NYC on HC?

  • @deedee77711 Maybe the bill Obama wants has no public option?

  • @deedee77711 Why is deedee77711 unable to comprehend the written word?

  • @eirefrance I just don't understand how you vote yes on something and then don't want it

  • @deedee77711 I just don't understand how you can't even understand the flexibility INHERENTLY designed into the bill, yet you can stand there are call it a bad bill. Its like you don't even know what you're talking about?

  • @eirefrance It is a Bad bill and it will be repealed. How can anyone vote on a bill without even reading it first.

  • @deedee77711

He's still a supporter of the bill, he just thinks that an alternative system might make more sense (and possibly save more money) for NYC's health care infrastructure. The ability to employ such a waiver is part of the bill's flexibility, which he himself advocated for.

  • It funny seeing the GOP blab on Fox about how terrible gov't funded healthcare is, yet they failed to tell the drones that they themselves have GOV'T FUNDED HEALTHCARE, if they really loved the private sector so much, they would drop there gov't coverage and buy private insurance. Anyone who watches Fox news and believes there BS is a idiot.

  • I can't believe he didn't run in 2008...he would have won. People need to recognize this guy as president of the future who will stand for them. God, it makes me so fucking mad we don't have him at the white house. He's liberal, he's tough, intelligent, and for the people. Period.

  • Not only is Congressman Weiner sharp, and intelligent, he's bloody passionate! He's passionate for the people! I too wish he was my congressman.

  • I would vote for this guy.

  • @youhavegeniusshins yea and ur an idiot

  • Healthcare is for the greater good. And government power SHOULD be expanded to implement it (that, btw does NOT infringe on "liberty"). That said, the new health care bill still leaves private insurers in charge, and in that sense us a fail. The only reason some/few polls showed americans against the bill was cuz it didn't GO FAR ENOUGH. and because of faux news lies about it

  • By the way, was hey, hey, hey your defense of Joe Lieberman?

  • FINALLY another human being that does not totally absorb the shit coming out of Fox News' mouth!

  • Weiner is talking policy and when they have no rebuttal they comment on his tie. You've gotta be kidding me.

  • FOX LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I want National Pickle Month!!

  • DID YOU JUST TOUCH MY KNEE?

  • single payer ahoy batman!

  • @lloydmauler Sadly the dems said no....

  • I hope he doesn't die from a stomach ulcer after having to deal with these people.

  • these 2 guys from FOX are buffoons and incapable of having a real conversation .. they are puppets- FOX only hires idiots with no self respect and who don't mind working for Satan

  • "internet explorer can not display the page" hahahahahahaha

  • lol "what if your district doesn't want it?" As someone represented by Anthony Weiner and living in his district, I'm thrilled that my representative is actually standing up for what I believe in and telling it like it is! Someone needs to stand up to those dumbass liars trying to bring down healthcare reform. Good for him!

  • "'hey hey hey?' that's your defense of Joe Lieberman?"

  • Here is a simple question for all Americans.... please state, in what other area has the federal government ever regulated inactivity? Pounding a health care bill thru when the majority of the American people didn't want it, is not the answer. The supreme court will rule on this. Currently Obamacare has been ruled unconstitutional.

  • @1fatcat3 you fail to mention that those judges who ruled against the mandate profited off of their decisions.. and news flash. those are gonna be rolled.

its going to the supreme court, and it won't be heard. years of meetings .. rammed through is a lie brought to you by the koch brothers.

  • @lloydmauler You didn't answer the question........

Here is a simple question for all Americans.... please state, in what other area has the federal government ever regulated inactivity?

  • @lloydmauler 28 States have filed lawsuits, and 42 states have either passed or introduced Freedom of Choice legislation or amendments designed to protect their citizens from the federal law's onerous "individual mandate." Massachusetts enacted a law under former Gov. Mitt Romney in 2006, creating an exchange and mandating that its citizens purchase health insurance or pay a fine. Didn't turn out too good for the "folks" in MA. VA has asked this to be fast tracked bypassing the lower courts..

  • @1fatcat3

you continue to lie about pounding the healthcare act through. why do you continue to lie? why do you lie about the majority fo the american people didn't want it? News flash. only the individual mandate has been ruled unconstitutional. you're doing a really crappy job of trolling.

  • @lloydmauler Lie hardly go check the polls, more people were / are against the health care bill and stimulus package yet they went ahead with it against the will of the people. While unemployment was at 10% they were busy with health care now that it has been passed they say why worry about health care when unemployment is at 9.4% go figure. More favor repeal!

"If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."

    Winston Churchill

  • @lloydmauler The mandate is the cornerstone in which upon obamacare was built , if it goes the entire thing will most likely go with it. It is not severable.

  • I wish more Democrats would be as courageous as Weiner - and that includes Obama.

  • @Tiberius101 Obama is a joke. He doesnt want to run the country he wants to make everybody (dems/republicans/whitehouse) happy.

  • LOL on National Pickle Month (which is July, btw)

  • Weiner is awesome!

  • How does Weiner keep getting re elected he is the problem wow!

  • @johnnorvaisas He keeps getting re elected becuase he is honest and hard working guy. Weiner is awsome and i seriously do hope he runs for president in 2016.

  • @Babylauncher3000 LOL you still think he is honest?? More like was never honest.

  • @Babylauncher3000 he probably just got done sending a dick pic right before this interview. still want him for president?

  • @Babylauncher3000 This guy is awesome, too bad he's a pervert. The left is going to lose a big voice.

  • @Babylauncher3000 Republicans hope he does too. He is so honest and hard "working." Liberals need to worry about '12 when Romney opens up a can on obamo the clown.

    Buh bye, weiner.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE He's better than any conservative.

  • @jrwel14 The only thing he is better than is you and your mom. Conservatives consider him trash, just like every other liberal is....including you.

    Anything else, trash?

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Trash? You and ALL conservatives. Their big tax lie, Trickle down lie. Obama's trip to India cost 200 million a day lie. Death Panel lies. Vitter, Ensign scandals. All trash. Nothing but.

  • @jrwel14 You tell 'em, trash!!!!!

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Only if you could stop being trash. But. it's impossible.

  • @jrwel14 Yo yo, I can tell that you don't like to be corrected with real facts and that ain't right, man. That's like too much snizzle from your nizzle...or something to that effect. Your liberal homies can school you on the low down. And don't spread all that haterade, cuz.. You're trying to let too much ugly flow at one time. You feel me, T to the R to the A to the S to the H?

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE You sound more like a 5 year old troll. And, that age is pushing it!

Have told you real facts. The Trickle down is a lie, Obama's trip to India cost 200 million a day is a lie. So, go back to reading comic books.

  • @jrwel14 You acting like you know a little something something about something is a lie, liberal trash. So, go back to farting in the tub and eating the bubbles, terd boy.

    You're a clown.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE You again? You're like a bad cold that won't go away!

  • @jrwel14 Good comeback......not....bwahahaha.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Had to say something that you would understand! The hypocrisy of the GOP. Vitter had sex while wearing diapers with prostitutes. He got re elected in 2010. But, Weiner? The RNC chairman wants him to resigned. Inspite of what Weiner did. he has more common sense than any conservative. To use YOUR words. Conservative trash.

  • @jrwel14 Obama wants weiner out a well.democrat equals republican equals rat. as an independent i am appalled at the two parties

  • @jrwel14 That's it....keep going. It's stuff like that which causes us here to keep laughing and passing the day. You keep going!!!!!!! What a hoot!!!! Don't leave us hanging. Ok, bye now dumbass liberal trash.

  • @jrwel14 both parties are full of shit....corporatist warmongering scumbags that that stomp on our constitutional rights while taxing and spending what what they take from us = democrats. corporatist scumbags that stomp on our constitutional rights while spending money theyve charged = GOP

  • @newjerseydev GOP is more corporative scumbags.

  • @jrwel14 I agree. I despise both but the GOP are worse

  • @jrwel14 liberals are welfare receiving, medicaid abusing, lazy, the man holds me down, wic spending, section 8 trash. Yeah, that means you boy. Won't be long though....the new Prez and the Republican house and the new Republican Senate coming in soon will make your kind have to work. OUCH!!! Then you can become a regular person who earns his way. But, you will still be able to dream about sitting on your ass and living the easy life like you used to.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE Congratulaions! You showed what a joke conservatives are! People from ALLpaties, races work! Those who are on welfare. Sure you are 1 of them. Are from both parties. The easy life are the rich. Like Buffet told Ben Stein. The class warfare is being done by the rich. And, the rich are winning!

  • @jrwel14 The average WORKING American is not rich, dumbass. Liberals think just because you work you are rich? LOL Go to school, get a job and get off the system, liberal loser.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE

"liberals are welfare receiving, medicaid abusing, lazy, the man holds me down, wic spending, section 8 trash."

:( thats a very mean thing to say, i don't like it when you say mean things because it makes me sad

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE ebonics? I am a TRue conservative, support Ron Paul. weiner has conviction and ideals whether u support him or not. hardly what one can say about the big spending republicans who hide behind their phony morals and bibles. fuck off

  • @newjerseydev And isn't that something.....a "conservative" such as you who puts weiner on a pedestal and says he has conviction and ideals. I hope he is convicted and his ideals have already been exposed. Weiner is a trashy liberal big spending idiot. Phoney morals? Anytime a liberal gets caught it's attack time on Republicans and the Bible. You are just a democrapic liberal with 0 morals and 0 integrity. So, there goes your phoney conservative torch being blown out, liberal.

  • Where sent to washington to lead! Sometimes they have to do what is best for their district even if the poeple dont like it.

  • was "hey, hey, hey" your defense of joe liebermann? - this man has to become president! I would love to see him debate sarah palin into tears

  • Weiner rocks! The best part of this interview is the knee-grab and how jumpy the two Foxites get after Weiner calls him on it.

Btw - when is National Pickle Month?

  • The problem with liberal voters is that they live in fantasy land. This fantasy land is created by demagogues like Weiner.

The only difference between Democrats and Republicans is that the Democrats are EVEN MORE in bed with corporations. Need proof? Just look at who corporations give the most money to.

What you liberals fail to understand: When you give politicians power to "regulate," you give them the exact power they use to court dirty deals from corporations in exchange for "favors."

  • @UncleIrv "Just look at who corporations give the most money to." - You my friend, are clueless, and base your opinions on no facts whatsoever. Corporations have given republicans more money than democrats for the last 50 years, year after year. and that is a FACT. You just try to disprove it. Go do something more productive, stop posting on all these videos searching for someone to badmouth. Trust me, this is the last you'll hear from me, I'm off to do something much more fun. Haha bye!

  • @navyfreek1129

"...Corporations have given republicans more money than democrats for the last 50 years..."

You are utterly full of shit. You liberals live in a fantasy world where you think you can just pull facts right out of your ass.

Anyone can verify for themselves the fact that corporations have tended to give more money to Democrats and liberal causes. Just look at the Obama campaign in 2008. Obama received more money from Wall Street than McCain, including from Goldman-Sachs.

  • @navyfreek1129

"...Trust me, this is the last you'll hear from me, I'm off to do something much more fun. Haha bye!..."

Yeah, that's typical of you blowhard delusional leftists. You state some bullshit as if the very act of you saying it makes it true, then you run away to hide in your personal little fantasy land where you can be safe from all those big evil "facts" that threaten you night and day.

Have fun burying your head in the sand.

  • @UncleIrv you can't call liberals delusional when most of the people in your political party believe that society is run by an nonexistant invislble man in the sky.

  • @mwells219

That's very odd that you called President Obama a "nonexistant invislble man in the sky."

But I suppose it's par for the course, coming from someone who thinks society is run by Santa Claus and Robbin Hood.

  • @UncleIrv Obama does not run society, he runs the executive branch of the US government. Government=/=society. What mwells is talking about is the fact that conservatives have a large concentration of those who believe in god, CAtholics/Christians/etc. Believe in god despite there being no evidence for it.

  • @HoOkEdOnBlEaCh

    I was being sarcastic.

My sarcasm was justified because mwells was claiming that Christians believe "society is run" by God. That's a rather ridiculous misstatement of Christianity.

You're inaccurate as well, when you say Christians "believe in god despite there being no evidence." You're confusing the words "evidence" and "proof." Of course we do have "evidence." It's just INCONCLUSIVE. Just like "evidence" cited by atheists. Neither position is empirically "provable."

  • A good example of how Democrats are geniuses at dishonesty: Weiner calling "death panels" a lie.

Ask yourself what is meant by "death panel." It's just a name for when a bureaucracy decides who gets a medical procedure and who doesn't. THERE IS NO QUESTION THAT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE DEMOCRATS INTEND. Yet, they deny there are "death panels" because their bill doesn't CALL THEM BY THAT NAME.

Wake up, you idiots! Do you really think they're going to CALL THEM "death panels"? You stupid fucks.

  • @UncleIrv Yep we should leave it just like it is now...An insurance company executive looks at the bottom line on his profit and loss statement before deciding who gets a medical procedure and who doesn't.

  • @exsinor

Notice, I didn't say we should leave it as it is now.

Also, you are again repeating the same falsehood I just corrected the other guy on. Insurance companies DO NOT "decide who gets a medical procedure and who doesn't" on the basis of "profit and loss." They create PRODUCTS called "policies." What gets covered is clearly documented in those policies IN ADVANCE.

If you don't find the product you want, it's probably because the government currently DICTATES what can be offered.

  • @UncleIrv I know about PRODUCTS CALLED POLICIES. I don't need a lecture. What is covered by "polices" determines the cost of that "policy" and that cost is driven by PROFIT. Policies only affordable by the wealthy are subsidized by lower cost basic care policies which are underused because of high deductibles. The true driver of high medical costs are Emergency Room treatments to people that have no insurance. Hospitals can't eat the cost of these and raise rates accordingly.

  • @exsinor

Unpaid emergency room treatments are only part of what's driving up costs.

The bigger part is that the existing system is over-regulated, and all motivation for the consumer of heath care (the patient) to save money has been de-incentivised. So many "middle men" and regulations are inserted between the doctor and patient that market incentives cannot function.

I think requiring emergency rooms to take anyone regardless of ability to pay is a worthy humanitarian concession.

  • @UncleIrv I agree "requiring emergency rooms to take anyone regardless of ability to pay is a worthy humanitarian concession. The point I was trying to make is that having a basic health policy covering those people would decrease costs. It doesn't have to be a national policy, perhaps something on the state level.

Also, many of those peope are using the emergency rooms as a health clinic. Emergency room care is much more expensive than Primary Health Clinics

  • @exsinor

Sounds good...except that I would be quite adamant about such a program being implemented on the STATE level.

In general, I think ALL "social welfare" services should be administered at the state level. First, this gives us an option which system to be under. Second, there would be competition between states to find what works. Third, they'd be more accountable to the people.

The inefficiency of ER's as health clinics, I think, is a useful incentive for people to buy insurance.

  • @UncleIrv I can agree with much you say, but what about states that don't care about providing any social services to certain people. They just can't up and move to a state that is more "friendly" or you end up with some Californias or regressing to some 50's segregationist mentalities. The problem is complex and cannot be approached by strickly conservative or liberal ideologies. The best answer is somewhere in between. Incentives to buy insurance works only for those who can afford it.

  • @exsinor

If states prefer not to supply social services, they have the right. This country survived just fine without them for generations. But in reality, no state would totally eliminate them. The result of this experiment would be that we would find out what level works best.

I am absolutely convinced that the current level of social welfare intervention is destroying the very people that it purports to help. The reality is undeniable. The cultural destruction can be seen everywhere.

  • @exsinor

As for conservative or liberal...there's a lot of misunderstanding about that. True Conservatism---that which was called "Classical Liberalism"---HAS NOT EXISTED in this country for over 100 years. The Progressive Era began with Teddy Roosevelt. Every government we've had since then has operated on some level of Progressivism.

I know it might be hard to envision, but taking social services out of the hands of the feds would be the greatest thing to happen to this country in decades.

  • @UncleIrv Okay, tell your grandma and grandpa that they deserve to lose their social security and medicare, if they are not on it, the god bless them, but mine are.

  • @navyfreek1129

Nobody's advocating taking away Social Security from people who have paid into the system.

But what good is your altruistic intent of letting everyone have S.S. when it's just an ILLUSION and the money will not be there when they go to collect?

S.S. was nothing but a PONZI SCHEME from the beginning. I don't care how noble your intentions are; there's nothing noble about lying to people, stealing their money, then going bankrupt on them before they can collect their benefits.
