That's because the American-spec C30 sucks balls. It doesn't come with sport chassis, only dynamic chassis. If you're lucky enough to have a Canadian T5, you can spec it with a sport chassis for $500 or it comes standard with the sport styling package.
This car simply had a identity crisis. It is too "soft" for the enthusiast crowd, yet to "hard" for normal buyer. Weighting 3200lbs is not a problem is they spec it to deal with the weight like the Mazdaspeed 3, which weight 3300 and cheaper....
If the intent of the C30 is to make sure people know they are driving a Volvo, then they have succeed 100%. This why no one buys it.
