    you are completely right, these haplogroups are probably 10000 or 15000 years old, long before bronze age nations emerge as "nations". I think we need a dna sequence from maybe 4000 years to do it.

    I think this science is still relatively new and evolving, more information will emerge in coming years.

  • @arabophinician This information is going over your head! We have J2 genes from the East Med and J1 Middle Eastern genes in Asia. Our J2 dna is equal in Muslim and Christian sects. Calling a Lebanese any type of Lebanese pure Arab is like calling a Greek or an Italian Arab

  • K2 is called now T which is found in many regions including Iraq,Palestine, Egypt and other parts in the middle east. the 2nd haplogroup Q is also foun in russia and central asia today not just north america. R1b is not always European depending on the branch some can be European and some can be Anatloian or Middle eastern. im telling you this genographic project is developing and getting more accurate results ..its just a matter of time
