Great timing, great voice - so gifted. Alcohol is a killer for anyone unlucky enough to have the disease of alcoholism. Everyone rattles on about drugs just become alcohol is socially accepted and readily available everywhiere. It was drink that ultimately killed Amy and it is so very sad that she was unable to overcome it.

@tet43 Don´t condemn her! Amy had her most gigs and her best performances within the 2 or 3 yrs she was on drugs. And cancelling her tour lately was caused of her problem with alcohol. She was clean of drugs already for more than 2 yrs before she died. Why then shifting it all to drugs? Why not to alcohol? And why do you believe that she "..blessed with these gifts..." threw it all away by intention?
Maybe she had to suppress a bothering woe by drugs and alcohol and then got from bad to worse.

I'm angry the people around her didn't help her. Yes you can rabbit on about how she refused help but if she was family or a friend of mine I would have FORCED her to get help, believe me. There was always a way of getting her help but people never tried hard enough.

I'm angry the people around her didn't help her. Yes you can rabbit on about how she refused help but if she was family or a friend of mine I would have FORCED her to get help, believe me. There was always a way of getting her help but people never tried hard enough.
She didn't deserve to die, she was immensely talented and there will NEVER be another like her. It's such a shame her death could have been prevented...
