The nWo should have lasted until today. It wasn't really a stable, but a rival quasi-fed to WCW. The whole idea went way beyond a simple stable. The 4 Horsemen didn't come in and say they were buying up all NWA talent, nor did the Heenan family threaten WWF as an organization. NWO = Wrestling's equivalent to the Borg on Star Trek. When wrestlers joined, they lost some identity, but gained power, or had power promised to them.

this was when the nwo should have broken up for good, it would have been the perfect way to split up the team for good. it would have atleast ended the most awesome stable in history with some dignity rather than dragging it out like they did.

i dont think they should have phased it out for good at this point but just have hall and nash and syxx and hogan kick out all the new guys after them and have feuds with those guys and broken up the nwo later

but. hall nash and if syxx stayed in wcw should have always retained the nwo name.but its nice to dream what could have been but it is what it is so ,oh well.
