If you haven't tried it you need to try Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. It has a white label and you can't miss it. Walmart sells it and it is spectacular!!
@Sathirel2 ..lol...learn something new everyday, eh Sath? Kraft Original is used as a base sauce in more bbq competitions than any other brand. Most Pitmasters start with it and then tweek it to make it their own..! If you're feeding a ton of people at an event, then you sure as hell are not going to be brewin' gallons of your own brew the day before. Time is money, boy..! lol
@BarbecueWeb Well. I just dont like the taste of that sauce, but I should try with all your ingredient ^^ I'm just... Really... septic =) Keep up the good work, every videos looks yummyyyyy
I cook my ribs pretty much the same way with only a few differences. I season my ribs before I put the bbq sauce on them. To the sauce I add a few othere things including a cup+ of Jack Daniels. Then I put them on the grill. When the weather doesn't let me bbq outside, I season my ribs then put them in the oven at 300 degrees for 1 1/2hr, take them out and pour off the fat, then drench them with sauce then back in the oven for another 1 1/2 hr. They come out just as tender.
This is the recipie I'm going to use tonight. All the other recipies I found were calling for a 3-5 hour cook time. This will be much more efficient. Subscribed!
@hockey3761 They were awesome! The only difference is I couldnt find an aluminum pan so I had to simmer them in a dutch oven for an hour, but man they were tender and delicious. Thanks for the video!
@mrrikewill yes, you'll want to cook them low and slow though, ie: indirect, preferably with smoke, as all those are, are sliced up pork shoulder, and you'll want to give it time to break down the connective tissue and render the fat.
@OldRelayer you are not cooking at the right temp then. Cook them at 225 using 2 zone method as he shows. The temp should be 185 to 190 in the center. Any ribs cooked low and slow for 4 to 5 hours at 220 to 225 until internal temp hits 185 to 190 will be tender as can be. If you are reading the temp gauge mounted on some grills then that is the problem. Get you 2 thermometers as shown in video...one on grill and one on hood. Go to amazingribs . com for more info....great site !
You might wanna try and cook them in the pan for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I do this exact same recipe just cook it longer, they come out very very tender.
Maybe someday.. true, hard working Americans might show some lazy, unwilling, welfare recipients how to cook some good food on the BBQ !!! Well in your case... some pigeon, dove, and a few seagulls.
The comment about it being too much BBQ sauce. We just put it in a jar and use it, it is full of flavor.
This method is more like brasing than BBQ cooking but for the end where you glaze them. Every time I send my wife to get ribs she always comes back with these country style, they are quite inexpensive compared to baby back ribs and a whole lot more meat. I can never get them tender, I thought for sure this would do it, but it didn't. I followed the directions.
these cuts of meat are WAY easier to do in the oven, and get the same result. Set the oven to 325-350, put the ribs in a pyrex baking pan, with about 1/2 inch of water in to. Cover and seal with foil, and cook for 3-4 hours. when done, separate meat from fat/bone, put on a cookie sheet and brush with sauce, then broil till sauce bubbles and is just a little black, then do the same on the other side. Fantastic and cheap.
MAN !!! i tried that recipe here in my small german village yesterday evening an now i am something like an barbecue god . all my friends wanted more and more...and more !! they asked me where i get the recipe from... and i said : you have to ask the americans :-) !!love your stuff !! Hulkamania !!!!
@Dorni2405 wenn du dir die anderen Rippchen ankuckst, diese ganzen langen teile, dann wird man echt neidisch, weil du sowas hier garnicht bekommst ^^ ich jedenfalls nicht in meinem Dorf hier xD
my brother will be home from the marines end of this month and we r cookin out! other bro is smokin 2 briskets & im grillin these! thx bbq pit boys ive tried the recipe the other day and it is fucking delish!
I can personally vouch for this recipe as being awesome. I made it twice, and like other Pit Boys recipes, the only problem was I didn't make enough. They were gone in about 5 minutes.
This is the method I use to make my ribs, however I put mine in the oven at 300 for 10 hours, half way through I turn them over and baste them. After 10 hours, I get rid of all the greasy sauce/beer liquid and a fresh bottle of bbq sauce and cook for another hour. Serve with fries and salad. mmmm mmmm mmmmmmm
I've just finish eating this. I made this with a twist I sear the ribs first then I cover it with bbq sauce and then low and slow!! Yeah! taste goooood!!
them ribs look mighty good......just think what a hard working man can do with those tender and juicy country ribs....it reminds me when my daddy on those lazy afternoons used to throw some ribs on the pit and cook'em for me and my mom....while my daddy cooked them ribs my mom would get the corn out of our own yard and boil them ....cause as my daddy used to say " that is just how i like them"....them memories are long gone....now it is just me and my sweet memories...and that is just fine...
i'm very interested in the food you cook, it looks so great that i could just eat my computer monitor, if you could, would it be possible to tell me what would be a great way to start barbequeing? i've noticed in a couple videos that you have another "gas" grill in the back? i'm assuming that charcoal grills are better, where did you find your kind of charcoal grill, how much do you usually spend on supplies for a video. (food ingerdiants) if you can't tell me that, could you send me some food?
I don't get it. One of the things that is supposed to be good about this cooking method is that it is healthier because the fat gets rendered off the meat into the sauce. Why does he spoon the sauce over the ribs??????
I don't get it. One of the things that is supposed to be good about this cooking method is that it is healthier because the fat gets rendered off the meat into the sauce. Why does he spoon the sauce over the ribs??????
I was surprised on the brand and type of bbq sauce you guys used I figured it would have been homemade sauce or a diffrent brand pretty cool you used cheap bbq sauce
I do mine like that too. When I am having a large crowd I cut the meat in 2" pieces so they are almost like BBQ hors'd'vours. When doing the final browning and glaze I have a massive pile of rib chunks about 8" high on the center of the grille on high heat constantly tossing them stir fry style until they are browned to my liking. My guests like to hang around the grille and drool during that part. My home made Jack Daniels Molasses BBQ sauce doesn't hurt either.
Very good method to cook up them ribs. I have noticed if you cook them style of ribs right up on the grill they tend to lean to the ruff side of eatin.
As you said or can be eatin them with a knife and fork.

SEE THE RATINGS LINE UP TOP I BETCHA THE RED LINE IS ALL THE WEIRDO VEGETARIANS ,YOUV'E GOT TO BE MAD NOT TO EAT MEAT LIKE THE SPIT BOYS MAKE IT .TOP JOB
im a 2 time cancer patient doing chemo in the hospital n im 21...my llove was to bbq before, but doing chemo gives me mouth sores to were i cant eat for weeks...so i watch food network and bbq vids on youtube.....THIS LOOOOKS YYYYYUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYY
@BuoyzToyz ....this cut is meaty so grilling directly over fire is not recommended -unless you like eating your rib chop with a knife and fork! This slow simmer method helps tenderize the meat and of course adds a ton of flavor using your fav bbq sauce.
@BuoyzToyz A lot of your average restuarants boiling full slabs in barbeque, water, and hickory Smoke flavoring and then grill them after words. It does taste GUUUD!
@xXxUniversexXx .I doubt that you'll notice any taste since its only purpose is to further sweeten the ribs. Now, if you use a wheat or stout brew then expect to taste the flavoring..!
I'm workin on my batch now (for the Giants & San Francisco game) Hope they turn out alright! I went with krafts! It was like a buck a bottle!

kinda shocked that there basically boiled chops?!?!?! sure they taste guuud though!
BuoyzToyz 1 year ago
@BuoyzToyz ....this cut is meaty so grilling directly over fire is not recommended -unless you like eating your rib chop with a knife and fork! This slow simmer method helps tenderize the meat and of course adds a ton of flavor using your fav bbq sauce.

@BarbecueWeb BAR B Q sauce on the ribs & hot coal's if not watch the sugar in it will burn the hell out of the ribs quick.

@BuoyzToyz A lot of your average restuarants boiling full slabs in barbeque, water, and hickory Smoke flavoring and then grill them after words. It does taste GUUUD!
nightfireivey 8 months ago
@xXxUniversexXx .I doubt that you'll notice any taste since its only purpose is to further sweeten the ribs. Now, if you use a wheat or stout brew then expect to taste the flavoring..!
