  • It is not the fastest machine in the world. That would be the Amada FOL! Get your facts right.

  • wooooowwww...

  • wow...amazing machine!

I'm working on my thesis "difference between the gas and fiber lasers cutting machine" I found that fiber lasers cut much faster, but can you help me find a difference in the operation of this two lasers? Maybe send me some link or text material?

    Thanks in advance :)

  • @dildostail Thank you for your comment. To answer your question in detail, would you please send us an e-mail at info[at]trumpf[dot]com so we can get back to you with the requested material? For now, you may want to have a look at the book "The Laser as a Tool" (ISBN-13: 978-3-8343-3072-7) which describes the different kinds of lasers.

  • Is this Trumf laser realy so fast? :O In ower company we have 4kw gass laser, but it cant compare with that...

  • Yes, the machine is the fastest laser cutting machine in the world.

These are the real videos without any tricks.

Reasons for the high speeds in thin sheets are

    1) solid-state laser TruDisk with 6kW, which can achieve highest speeds because of a better absorption of the smaller wavelength (1µm)

    2) cross beam made out of CFRP material for minimum weight and maximum stiffness

    3) high dynamics of the linear drives in the machines

    4) two cutting heads for cutting 2 parts at the same time
