@GameMiestro Thing is, Retsupurae doesn't need to be just about making fun of the worst of the worst Let's Plays. Like Rifftrax, they can take fair-to-middlin' LPs and just mercilessly mock the bad parts of them and it will come out all the funnier. Besides, there are so many sequence breaking speed run videos of Super Metroid out there that have been well done, this guy really probably should have at least edited out his eight minutes of failed sequence breaking

By the way, Let's Plays were invented by one of these guys, and the rest were the early pioneers of it. Basically any entertaining LP had it's style stolen from one of the SA guys.

The program you use doesn't determine what FPS you can record at. That's determined by your computer. I mean, I have to drop it to 20 just to get anything done and I still desync. If my computer actually had a processor that did stuff, I'd be able to push it maybe to 60. Any higher is overkill.

And yeah, most programs do have options for setting how fast you record.

It begins to close the moment you get the bombs. I've seen TAS videos where people manage to rush back to the door on time. I've also seen videos where people go back and kick that guy's ass with the plasma beam... I think. That, or somebody was cheating. I don't remember the logistics behind it.
