  • @euklidis1984 stfu

  • You my friend, are extremely annoying :L

  • The very notion that there exists one "British accent" is misleading to the point of absurdity. You briefly address that point, but then you shoot your own credibility to hell by confusing RP with the estuary accent.

  • How to do a British accent? ...WELL...we wont have to worry about that for much longer will we !! It will be history! together with everything else that we Brit's were at one time so proud of,i think the word used to describe it is 'progress'. However it's not what i would call it,or is that not politicaly correct, have i been a naughty Englishman making an unfair comment? mmmm!

  • @epsilon090

Ok, calm down bro. You really can't let sterotypes represent every American out there. Seriously. Ignorant human beings like you is what makes me want to shoot myself.

  • How many times? It's called an ENGLISH accent!

  • @crazypianolady i agree... Americans are so uneducated thanks to their hollywood movies

  • @epsilon090 HARSH. So we're not educated because we watch movies? I think you watch them too. Making movies is a very tough business. I would advise you not to say such rude things about Americans. It's mean and offensive.

  • @vballlover22 I watch anything worth my time, and most important accurate. It's a very tough business I know, but sure these morons from hollywood know how to kill time portraying any non-american character the way they want to, especially when it comes to making the non-americans look pathetic, and the americans or any other white dude as a hero. That's the reason most Americans criticize non-americans based on their hollywood movies which is where all stereotypes come from.

  • @vballlover22 My apologies though, I should have been more specific. I meant to say "most Americans". I met well educated and cultured americans as well as many who aren't. I lived in USA for years and most of the time i got insulted, talked down to, made fun of, all of that based on accent and skin color. most of you don't even politely say "Speak English please", you go ahead and say "Speak American, you mexican!!!"

  • @epsilon090 I assure you, not all Americans are like that. I'm not afraid to admit that America has many flaws, but what country doesn't? We are not the most proper, well-mannered people in the world, but some of us can be pretty-well thoughtful. I do know a lot of people who would never care about looks or accents or anything for that matter. I for one am aware that us Americans can be pretty harsh, but that doesn't give anybody the right to judge all based on a few.

  • @epsilon090 Thank you very much. I do see where you are coming from though. On behalf of all Americans I apologize if you or anyone else have been treated badly. It depends on where you go in America. Where I live (Southern California) there are lots of Mexicans because we are near Mexico, but there are also many other ethnicities, and most people I know are kind to everyone. I am very sorry though, I hope if you ever come back you are treated better!

  • @vballlover22 I'm not from Mexico if that's what you're thinking LOL. I'm spanish speaker YES, I'm light brown skinned YES, I'm Hispanic/Latino YES and two more races within my blood YES............ Hispanic/Latino = Mexican, HELL NO!!! XD. And once again sorry. I just wish everyone was more educated and well informed. That's all. That way every single human being would realize everyone has a red heart and breathe the same air, and most important stop senseless deaths

  • Being blessed with a British accent I don't need to watch any of these videos, however this is the best I've come across so far. Well done.

  • @IntrepidMoocher Obviously he's British lol

  • "every speaker 'of' a British accent"? I'm English and we certainly don't use such an expression...I speak 'with' a Southern English accent....RP died out years ago....

  • @stalbanslad The BBC world service, Brian Sewell and Her Majesty would have something to say about that.

  • The first comment is spot on. I'm English too and thought the same....lol

  • How about this, Queer Cunt Poof

  • Why the hell would hot-dogs be illegal?!

  • He isn't very good, there is NO "British" accent you idiot.

  • @MrVillamike actually, due to world (not necessarily the Scotish or Welsh...) perception, the Oxford-English accent is considered the "British" accent. Along with Mancunian...

  • british accent ballcoks, the acent changes every bus ride, every 20 mins down the road,

  • @j0rdyb0y62 the fuckin truth mate

  • Doing an accent which doesn't exist must be pretty difficult. Reading this comment and trying to understand what I mean when you're utterly ignorant of everything east of Florida must be even more troubling.

  • Rather hilarious. I'm from london and my accent is more british than his :'(

  • thumbs up if you're british and you're watching this

  • im english and watching this just to see someone try and do my accent :L

  • ive always wonderd when people in england learn how to pronounce the two letters "th" are they told to say it with the "f" sound.. like when they say "things" they will say it like "fings"

  • @joedo24 They don't really. If you're well spoken you will pronounce your th's as th's. This isn't just an English thing, happens all across the UK depending on the individual and the factors surrounding them.

  • @Riiye No we DEFINITELY do. Posh toffs may not, but very many young people across England and even Scotland to some extent talk like that now.

  • @yurismir1 Yeah, that's a bad thing though. It's a sign of being not particularly well spoken, and I guess you could say there's a very strong case for that in Britain today.

  • @joedo24 Yes you're right. Many young people in England do that now.

  • i'm English but don't really see my r's as being weird. Also is there a difference between English and american r's. Also i wonder is he american cause ,although its quite posh and if u said it in the middle of urban Birmingham u'd get smacked, its quite good

  • *is trying to follow along and can't skip the r's*

Aaaaahhh- Ahhhrrr ahhreeee thaaaarrr thaeeee... HOW THE HELL- ? XD *americanplz*

  • I practice my British just watching Maggie Smith talk.

  • When I'm hearing him speak british,I immediately think of Draco Malfoy.. >:

  • U just have speak normely

  • British accents are really clean and refined other than my american accent;(.

  • I'm from Belarus, thank you for this lesson, i hope i will improve my accent very soon:)

  • keep pressing 2 lolz!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this accent

  • I'm from London, which is the Capital City of England, Great Britain, so I naturall have a British Accent. The reason I am watching this video however is to improve my pronunciation. For example, sometimes, I forget to emphysise the "r" at the end of the word "there" when it is followed by a word begginning with a vowel. Thank you for uploading this video, and I think I've been successful in improving my own accent :D

  • @jleer1 ...and now try to improve your writing please! lol...

  • Im british and I-- wait, why am I watching this?

  • @CandyKitten100

    ha ha

  • Keep pressing 4

  • @hemanshisupercool do you wanna be my friend then?

  • @hemanshisupercool It's okay, I'm Australian and I watched the Australian one :) It's not very good though, so don't watch it lol

  • @hemanshisupercool Because you touch yourself at night?

  • @hemanshisupercool because you watched the yogscast and they have a british accent

  • When he says bitish accent he means what people from outside of England call the way people from the uk speak

  • I don't like you.

  • haha i already naturally gained a british accent

  • there is no such thing as a British accent -.-

  • hot dogs are against the law......the way I use them

  • when are you people going to learn correct English? ie with a German accent HA!

  • I just learnt my own accent.

I didn't even realize we did all those things when we speak.

  • Im English,

  • I an American and it is hard to learn a British lendon accent like aluminum aliminum

  • he sorta got dis fing right but he missed out tht insted of "thing" we say "fing" and we mosty miss out the "t" at the end of a word infact we miss out loads of letters and we say "wiv" instead of "with"

  • @mozza778j ...I hope you're trolling because that is incorrect.

  • @mozza778j LOL

  • @mozza778j not everybody does, educated people say 'thing' and 'with'.

  • You are the best accent teacher in here

  • try to teach me to talk like Jack sparrow

  • @Emma13kage Captain.. Jack Sparrow

  • @iaintgotimetoblog ur right CAPTAIN jack sparrow

  • There's no such thing as a British accent!

  • @citysambo So what is this accent called?

  • @MJEandPhyxesVids An ENGLISH accent, Britain consists of Scotland and Wales which have entirely different accents as they are different countries.

  • @citysambo British english is a catch all term. It can refer to an accent from any part of britain. English english, scottish english. It's obvious what he is referring to here.

  • I feel like Joey :(

  • Im from London and there's something very synthetic about his accent. I think he's american

  • accent australian? american? and English - british?

diferent to Mexican and Spanish ?!

  • What is your accent?

  • I hate that. A 'british' accent. That was an english accent, and it was only specific for a small part of England. Wales and Scotland are also in Britain. That didn't sound welsh or scottish to me!

  • How can a British have an accent. ?? I mean really ??

  • @Rastamut because american accent is the no accent ^^

  • @nonobobo22 , I take it you never been to the Texas, Alabama, New York or even Minnesota. They HAVE accents, I've been there.

  • isn't he already speaking in a British accent?

  • arnt you british anyway tho:S

  • I love British accent <3

  • @xxYuukixxxx How do you?

  • Swanker.

  • so weird

  • Gotta laugh innit! You're so right TrueSky.....!

  • I'm from the south of England, and this guy is speaking 'posh twat' British, I hardly see anyone talk like that unless they're a Member of Parliament or the bloody Prime Minister.

  • @TrueSkyl1n3 actually you hear loads of people talk like that o.O especially in London. (maybe not in ALL of london^^). guys on TV also sound like that most of the time (BBC etc. why is that actually? there are loads of other accents, but most of the time it´s the posh one you hear^^). it´s the most beautiful british accent there is in my opinion :)

  • @TrueSkyl1n3 It's RP English. I'm not a native speaker, but I study the language and my understanding is (according to my phonetics lecturer who is from England) that people tend to shift towards RP pronunciation as they climb higher up the social ladder. Very few people speak with "perfect RP accent" (like you said, propably MPs etc.) but those with higher education like doctors or teachers may be under pressure to speak with a pronunciation that is near RP because of their status.

  • British Accents Turn Me On!

  • @shegotaswagg11

Ugh, you like the Welsh accent?

  • @shegotaswagg11 Horny Girls These Days

  • @shegotaswagg11 How the fuck?

  • @shegotaswagg11 Do you mean English or Welsh or Scottish or... lol.

  • There is no such thing as a British accent. There are so many different British accents which sound nothing like each other. Also doing a 'British' accent to fit in better in the UK is such a fail, people will just think you are a twat.

  • Comment removed

  • @paperstripes there is no such thing as an american accent either but we call it that because it originates from america there are so many such as ny accent, boston, texas ect if you told someone in america you have a RP British accent they wouldn't have a clue because there are soooo many

  • my playstation3 made my english epic, and i got an accent off it

  • I love how SO many comments are claiming that 'NO ONE IN THE SOUTH TALKS LIKE DAT'

I do. I'm from the south. Problem?

  • I have lived in England my entire life and have never heard anybody speak like that.

  • i dont know why but after that vid i ate a hot dog and feeled like its illigal o_O

  • FUCK YOU only 1% of the entire population speaks like that

  • South of England?

My family doesn't sound like that

  • man there's like 100 british accents or more so stop stereotyping all 60m brits as being posh knobs

  • real english people dont speak like the queen and the 1% of the population who are very posh and rich infact look geordie accent up thats a typical everyday accent not this crazy wannabe london accent ahaha is crazy how people are always taught to speak posh when they are told about the brittish accent

  • @justtinbiekhr the Geordie accent is only used in Newcastle silly! there are so many different accent up north and by the way nobody speaks posh in the uk we speak english

  • This is the british private school accent.

  • i think it is funny when people from England say "man, we dont sound like that." one, have you evera truely listened to yourselves......cause yes you do. and second the man said it was an example of the over all accent, like he does in the beginning of all of his videos.

  • talking to my computer feeling retarded. im reading all the comments out loud, i dont even know what i sound like

  • LOL all of those characteristics apply to me, no wonder everyone thinks I'm English! I'm actually from Australia with and Australian background and I've never been overseas; but everyone asks me where I'm from all the time!

  • it's funny because no one british talks like that:L

  • @alicee1997 I do mostly: I am from Buckinghamshire, England
