  • atbieb not much after you said that have you heard other recordings of this? sometimes when he sing 'wooah!! mr charLIE' you have to turn the auto volume levelling off or at least-ways set it to "classical" cos the electronics can't cope with how he sound when he sings when the feelingscome out like an ashmatic flutist or an arthritic drummer maybe start off then the whole orchestra come in this how he sound to me telling this story = 3+1/2 minutes on my LP b4 u hear ur rolling mill's bur....

  • nawl bro keep this up...been listen to dis since ah lil boy

  • omg thanks

  • this is my favorite lightnin song for true!

  • I saw this when I purchased The Blues According to Lightnin' Hopkins by Les Blank. It's one of the special features in the dvd. It's one of those great moments in Blues music history that is captured on film. Billy Bizor is so unknown and underrated on the Harp and puts so much emotion into it. Lightnin' is such a great storyteller that he can put it into music. Outstanding.

  • @Wildmanfan -- where can you get that documentary?

  • @NeoTRP

    watch?v=BcVbNaiBZCU
