Yes there was a punch thrown by number 72. totally uncalled for. The false start play was fine with me. When the linemen are in pass blocking stances as a d-lineman to go on the ball or their movement. Granger didnt look as if he heard a whistle so he thought the play was live. You can obviously tell when he puts his hands up wondering why the flag was thrown. If you watch the clip you can see #72's elbow come up and then go back down in a punching motion. He was just mad he was geting owned.
I was at the game and you could clearly see the WU punching Granger in the side at least 2times. The PF was wrong and OU got penalized for it. The triple team on Granger is not nice, but football worth. The punching was completely uncalled for and showed a complete lack of sportsmanship.

How you can call tha a mistake is beyond me but it was a blatant cheap shot. I played football and when someone hit my teammate i along with the rest of my team wanted payback so i dont blame uw for bending granger over and making him their bitch.

What I loved about it is (1) it took three of those cheap UW pansies to get Granger on the ground and (2) they were so busy with acting like b****es that they weren't blocking for Locker on that play, and as a result he got BLASTED by Ryan Reynolds and knocked out of the game for a bit. Yes there was a punch thrown by number 72. totally uncalled for. The false start play was fine with me. When the linemen are in pass blocking stances as a d-lineman to go on the ball or their movement. Granger didnt look as if he heard a whistle so he thought the play was live. You can obviously tell when he puts his hands up wondering why the flag was thrown. If you watch the clip you can see #72's elbow come up and then go back down in a punching motion. He was just mad he was geting owned.

I was at the game and you could clearly see the WU punching Granger in the side at least 2times. The PF was wrong and OU got penalized for it. The triple team on Granger is not nice, but football worth. The punching was completely uncalled for and showed a complete lack of sportsmanship.

I didn't see a punch land to be honest. I saw two of the UW guys push him to pin him on the ground and rough him up that way, but I didn't see a punch. Nobody went after his ankle, but three guys did want to put him on his ass. That is payback, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I don't think anybody was trying to seriously injure the other player. I hate both teams, so I've got no bias to worry about.

Oklahoma started the game by taunting Washington when they were jumping up and down in front of them at the edge of the tunnel. Throw that in with a 34-0 deficit and the defensive tackle taking a cheap shot and that can create hostilities. But the Washington players only blocked him to the ground and his knee was caught underneath. They didnt injure him. Although one Washington player hit the guy around the face mask area.
