@rufec12 Thanks, Rudy. The leader of that Q452 was the Spirit of Tampa SD70M (4688). I saw the power when they originally went south on Q453, but I didn't film it as I knew CSX would turn the power in Hialeah and send them north on Q452.
Nice! Did you get 91 last night at 2am? I went to see 97 this morning because it was 16 hours late but I was then informed that it was terminated this morning in Orlando at about 4am. Because 97 didn't come in last night, there was no 98. Instead, a bus was sent in 98's place which took the people to Orlando. 91 came in so there was a 92 this morning.
Thanks Ken! Yes, I did catch 91. They showed up in the Fort Lauderdale area well after 3 AM. I had a feeling 97 was terminated since I saw no signs of them before I went out to catch 91.
Not much the mid-Atlantic. The southbounds all departed New York on time, but once they got past Baltimore they were trapped, and most of them spent their nights in Washington DC because of the blizzards/Nor'easters
Awesome package, Tim. Great catches of Q452, 109, X902, W007, among the many others. Will look forward to part 2, noting the surprise trip you took upstate.
It was an extra train headed for the Tampa area. Every one of those empty covered hoppers that went to Miami for storage between May and June was on that train.
Thanks Joe! It was 4688, the Spirit of Tampa. I saw them hours before I shot that Q452 on Q453, but didn't film that since I knew they would turn the power around at Hialeah Yard and send it right back north.
Great video, Tim. I'm a bit disappointed though... you never told me you were going to Central Florida last Friday. Nice surprise, but I likes it better when we kept each other up to date on things like this.
All EMD on 452! Dang! Great catch and favorite, Tim!

Why were the Amtraks late, Ken/Tim?

Snowstorms in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Gotcha. While I knew not so much about that thanks to ignoring mass media, I did hear about the airport closures and whatnot.
