Yea, I'm not sure how he made all of it. But...... in the newer version "Hotdog Tank Avenger v1.2", he did make a tank very similar to this one and make it a prize. But you have to ace the level, which is a task. Me and my bro have only done it once so far.
The tank is actually 3 planes & a wafer wide. The wheels are on the front plane, the hotdog is on the second, the cannon is on the third, and a piece of the turret is a wafer thin slice on the backside of the third plane (I need to change that though because as long as its like that, it will hang up on background pieces).

That sucks man. The internet capability makes the game where it has endless playability.
Anyways, I made the gun using an emitter. I made my own bullets for it (making the shape of the bullet and putting explosives in it). Then copied it to "My Objects", put the emitter on the gun, went into the emitter's tweak menu and made it where it emits those bullets. And lastly, you see that red handle on the gun? I made it out of sponge, put a grab switch on it and hooked that up to the gun's emitter.
We are going to delete the big slope at the end and make a few changes there. We are considering adding a drive belt and doing away with the wheels (but thats not confirmed yet). And my bro is planning on deleting the rocket booster so the tank will be more stable.

It can get "almost" completely destroyed. We have gotten to the point where the switch that controls the tank has been blown up.

My bro has a headset. I'm gonna try to convince my bro to go in and work on the level tomorrow. I dont want to work on it by myself just because its mostly his level (he made most of it) and I hate to change anything without his consent. But we will see. This level needs a huge graphic overhall (it needs a background and scenery).
I also hope to convince him to take out that annoying hill at the end LOL. Its so hard to make it to the top.

LOL, in some cases yes. If you are careful about how you shoot the gun though, you can make it all the way through without ever losing your turret or cannon.
We had that idea about the enemies shooting back, but we didnt have enough time to go back in and add it. We finished and published this level, literally, minutes before the beta expired.
We plan on adding a few things here and there when the full game comes out. But as you can see, even without enemies shooting back, the level is pretty hard LOL. We actually had to start over about 5 or 6 times before we actually made it through. But we may still add shooting enemies. Thanks.
LOL, glad you like it. Its a really fun level IMO. Some people said it was boring for some reason. But I assume that reason is because they played by themselves without a partner. As you see in the vid, you need at least two players (a gunner and a driver).
We still plan on polishing up the level some more once the full version comes out. But yea, make sure to look for it when LBP is released.

There is a 3-way switch on the inside. Just hold the R1 button and pull in the direction you want to go.
You may have to feel around for the switch though because you have a little room to walk around in there. But you will find it without much trouble.

Na LOL. A bullet bounced off the ground in an odd way, came back, and hit just at the back of the turret which blew it completely off.
Take another look. Pause it at 1:04 and you will see it coming at the tank.
