I bought your vids! I will use them to study for mcat in Jan
btw, I am going to be uploading vids to teach you guys all the material you need to know for the bio section as I learn it.. so subscribe to my channel
Is this the kind of questions that is asked in mcat? I took Electricity & Magnetism in AP Physics 3 years ago and I still answered them correctly in seconds.
No, these are not the kinds of questions on the MCAT. These are the easiest, "lucky" questions that you'll get once every full moon. The MCAT is passage based, and mostly conceptual.
@Arabman666 Well thanks for the condescending comment there. You assume I don't have any conceptual understanding of physics? Having taken it that long ago, it must require a lot of conceptual understanding to remember it rather than memorize it. There is a difference between the two. And no, I have never said or thought that the MCAT is a cake walk.
Condescendingly? Are you nuts? I answered your question- and I'm a Resident Doctor.. I'm looking into MCAT pre-lecture packages for my younger brother- he's more of a visual learner.
You're too impulsive to be a good physician in my opinion. Learn how to take advice, and either respectfully accept it, or decline. Regards.
@Arabman666 This is also why I don't use the word premed with much respect or frequency. People who label themselves with this status act like they're classes above everyone else even though they haven't accomplished the ultimate goal for being premed yet. How arrogant and discriminatory.
Any trolling or flame replies will not be read. I will not live here on Youtube to argue with either a bunch of kids or egotistical, "me the smartest in the world" nutjobs.
Ok.. This sucks.. I did not understand a thing... I will be a softmart this coming fall and I was going to start taking the pre med courses.. But I just hate numbers.. I do like biology, but numbers, equations and formulas are my biggest enemies...
im currently right now in high school but i really wann become a doctor should i go for bio major or strictly for the pre med... because i heard that the advantage of bio major is that it still prepares you for the mcat... is that true.... or pre med is better??
@mh2blade hey, im taking the mcat coming up in a short while. her's my tip to you. Study what you ENJOY not what you think would be good for MCATs. statistically bio majors are known to the worst on the MCAT mainly because their main skill that they excell at is memorization, and that's not specificaly what's required on the MCAT.
@shabangbangyo thank but u see i like bio and i like madicine and i really wann be a doctor but i still wann keep my options oppen... you know not just sticking to the pre med know what i mean??
@mh2blade right, i would definately recommend majoring in something you enjoy studying, and would be fine with continuing in, if you change your mind about medicine or something else... For example I really liked the field of engineering dealing with artificial limbs and optics, so I'm majoring in biomedical engineering and taking and completeing the pre-med requirements at the same time.
@shabangbangyo,if thats true what u said about Bio majors, then what would u suggest is best to major in if i want to score high on the MCAT? is MCAT mainly math?
@ricoemilio like I said, you should do something you enjoy not something you think will just help out. but if you're only lookingn at that, the humanities have to be the major that helps the most, but you would need to take a lot of extra courses that way.
As long as you excel in the required courses set by medical schools (physics, bio, chem, ect...) you should be golden no matter what major you choose. Although if you major in Bio, many required upper division classes really solidify the concepts brought up in intro classes.
I also have other sources. I think you guys need to add more material to the vids

@nnrin
It's based on the Diagram from Question 1. Both values were given.
