Not sure about anywhere else but some stores in New York are selling single packs of smokes for $10 and if your one of those people who has like 5 packs a day, you get the picture. You're def right . I think legalizing it would solve a lot of problems. People who need it can get it without the worry of being judged and unable to get a job because of drug testing. I believe it would be a WAY bigger industry than tobacco, and when you smoke and drink, you don't need as much of either, but you always gotta have a cig after. There are so many people who only choose not to smoke because of their job but if you smoke it, usually you'll love it, and 4 loko's are def crazy.
Marijuana shouldn't be illegal. If it is taxed it would help to get more money to the government that they could be spending on the schools or maintaining our roads.
But, people would probably turn to it instead of beer or tobacco, and those industries would lose money.
Regardless of anybody's opinion of the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana, and regardless of anybody's celebrity status, nobody should be smoking weed and driving. It's probably not as bad as driving drunk, but it can't be all that safe either. At the very least, I'd've arrested whoever was driving.

Legalization would tempt more people to smoke it, and weed causes impaired driving, crime and depression! But seriously though, for someone who was heavy on Prop 19 this past year, I really am against the criminalization for marijuana. Take it or leave it, love it or hate it, whatever. So that aside, if you do it in a safe environment (like, say, when you're not driving on a highway on a dark night), I'm completely fine with whatever you with the green grass. Whether you're Willie Nelson or a high school dropout.

Well with the amount of people who have already killed themselves of by smoking (My grandparents included) and how stupid people tend to be when they do drugs, I dont think that drugs should be legal. It's also a waste of money. Not sure about anywhere else but some stores in New York are selling single packs of smokes for $10 and if your one of those people who has like 5 packs a day, you get the picture. I think drugs should only be used for medical purposes ONLY!

You're def right . I think legalizing it would solve a lot of problems. People who need it can get it without the worry of being judged and unable to get a job because of drug testing. I believe it would be a WAY bigger industry than tobacco, and when you smoke and drink, you don't need as much of either, but you always gotta have a cig after. There are so many people who only choose not to smoke because of their job but if you smoke it, usually you'll love it, and 4 loko's are def crazy.

Marijuana shouldn't be illegal. If it is taxed it would help to get more money to the government that they could be spending on the schools or maintaining our roads.
But, people would probably turn to it instead of beer or tobacco, and those industries would lose money.

Regardless of anybody's opinion of the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana, and regardless of anybody's celebrity status, nobody should be smoking weed and driving. It's probably not as bad as driving drunk, but it can't be all that safe either. At the very least, I'd've arrested whoever was driving.

I don't think it should be legalized. Dont get me wrong, I'm not a consevative 34 yr old man, I'm a 15 yr old girl. I'm surrounded by weed everyday, though I don't smoke it. Legalization would tempt more people to smoke it, and weed causes impaired driving, crime and depression! I think people that are caught with it should be heavily fined not put in jail, and it'd be awesome to stimulate our economy and tax it, but I don't think its worth the lost lives and the pain it could cause someone.

That's called a gray area and every subject has them, you can't always group everything into two circles. And sorry, but I smoked weed my last two years of high school EVERY DAY, and I actually did better in school those two years than ANY year before that. And half the time I was barred out or on tabs. It's the motivation in the person, not the drug they're taking.

They searched the tour bus of Willie. That's how he got caught. However, a tour bus is like a home and in some states you can have a certain amount in your home without getting in trouble. No one has ever had an OD on it and if it's taxed like cigarettes and alcohol(kills thousands a year) we could pay for everyone to have health care in this country. Last year on the fight just again marijuana we spent over 6 billion dollars. I can think of other ways to use 6 bil in this country.
