  • that thing is all engine!

  • Beautiful car, but a professional products intake manifold on a super car??

  • @thekingscamaro

it now has a FAST 102R...that was just early mock-up

  • you guys are FIENDS!!!! if i had this much money to blow on horsepower this is exactly how i would do it. Is there a video of this madness in action?

  • i was just thiking about doing that whit the car, very nice awsom car,you beat the vyron whit ease,2500 pound car vs 5000 pound car whit the same HP the difirence is 1.5 million dollard imagine getting smoke by a GTM when you driving that wasted vyron buaaah, the fisrt thing the is going to say is humm me is a bugati not a kit car

well my friend that not a kit car that a PURE AMERICAN MADE BEAST

    1000hp whit a LS1 that very impressive

  • I'm one of the drivers of the Factory sponsered GTM. The worlds only race GTM that is currently being fielded. These cars are beyond fun to drive. You can see some of our in car videos by searching "durbin gtm" or just "myraceshop". These really are race cars that can be driven on the street!

  • what is the name of the band, song playing in the background?

  • Sounds like any other American crap! Rattles, and sounds like shit. Come on people!

  • 1000hp in an 1800lb car with a driver = 0-60 in 1.5 seconds........ no, thats a cucumber in my pocket

  • This thing would be so much better with twins..SO much better!

  • slow...

  • is there any room for small sounds systems like a simple headunit and a 3way component set in each door or is this just pure performance

  • @deathbladefromhell99

we've got a DVD flip up head unit, component kick panels, and a sub mounted in the center console...but you've got to choose...the kick panels take up the already tight foot space and the sub goes where your elbow would normally rest. It can be done, but at the cost of space and comfort.

  • @deathbladefromhell99 why put a sound system in it? when you already have a ls7 to listen to

  • @redghost105

its got a flip our DVD player, subwoofer in console, and functional component speakers in the kick panels.

  • @HeatcoUSA thats pretty awesome, I was just making a joke though, I have a question, How much does it cost to tune a ls7 engine to 1000 horsepower?

  • @redghost105

well, this is not an LS7 but a sleeved LS1. Just guessing you'll spend $10-$18k on the motor and another $10k in forced induction to make 1000hp.

  • @redghost105 maybe i want to listen to sandstorm at 200mph

  • Hey I enjoyed your clip have some questions to ask 1. what gears did you use to beef up the Transaxle? would my LS-9 Fit in the car ? I what the same RWHP I had in my ZR-1 that was beefed up by Keith black parts. I want a 1000+ RWHP without any adders and with adders maybe 1200 RWHP can this be done with this Type of car? Or should I not wast my time and just go out and by another ZR-1

  • @radvigor

depends on goals. The LS9 would certainly go in the car. We ordered a beefed up GT3 from California Motor Sports to handle the power. The GTM kit is a tight fit, only as comfortable as the quality of the seats and shocks, a show stopper wherever you go, fun, but for example the 08 Z06 vette i drove at the road course the same day i drove the GTM felt as roomy and comfy as an Escalade after spending an hour driving the GTM. The GTM is hardcore and go fast. The vettes are comfy.

  • will a viper V10 fit in one of these cars cause a supercharged viper engine would be fun as heck in one of these cars black paint and a nice red and black engine use some a bunch of crome parts in the engine bay and light it up with red neon (damn i need to win the lottery)

  • @deathbladefromhell99

anything is possible in the hands of the right fabricator...in your driveway, no way, stick to the LSX family of GM engines as the kit was built around.

  • POOR TURBO!

  • PURE TURBO

  • i'm a big fan of factory five cars. I gotta say you guys definetly take this GTM to a whole new level!!!!!

  • 10 stars for using a centrifugal supercharger instead of a turbo without the turbo lag this thing must make great 1/4 mile times

  • @deathbladefromhell99

haven't gotten it to the track yet, but a big fan of centrifugal superchargers we are!

  • Very clean engine install!!!

  • You dont use a ls7 when boosting because the block cant handle much more then 6lbs of boost. If you go with a smaller engine you can boost it more and gain more power safely. Nice car im plannig on getting a gtm just not this extreme ill settle for 600hp

  • Who sings the song in the back ground? Dangerous? Killer chord progression!

  • I thought the transaxle couldn't handle that much power. What did you guys do to it?

  • @zhartford2

this is a beefed up Porsche GT3, not the normal suggested Porsche transaxle for a stock cube, naturally aspirated GTM kit.

  • how do you remove the engine? through the bottom is the only way i'd suppose?

  • @conor1148

as Factory Five sends it...you can take it out of the top. After all of our body mods..it may, but dropping it out of the bottom would be safer.

  • @HeatcoUSA how much overall would it cost to build a kit like this besides the engine? and also if you have a 1000 horsepower engine in this im just gonna take a wild guess it can go upwards of 200 mph? if so then do you have to reinforce anything for it to handle that speed?

  • i wander if a twin turbo v10 viper engine would fit in one of these?

  • @ihitatree

i'm convinced after being around this car a long time that many different powerplants could be done. Even with the Procharged LSX in it now, there's room for imagination and expansion. The cars are set up from Factory Five Racing for the GM LS engines, so not knowing how wide a V10 is it would be hard to say until you spec it out.

  • @ihitatree why not an ls7?

  • I would love to hit the track with this car..that mill sounds pissed off..love it!

How is it on the road?

  • @keefer2111

well, it has been driven but not at length at wide open throttle. Its been a challenge to keep tension on the blower pulley, but we're close to the fix. it rides great, handles great, just looking forward to being able to see what she's really got in her!

  • i would have put twin 101 hellion!

  • yea i thought that the 427 was a ls7 not a ls1... actually i'm sure of it. 1000hp is possible with a fr1 procharger but like u said it would smoke anything in the world!! weighing in at what maybe 2900lb....

  • @d16powerplant

absent from commenting for a long time. new video is uploaded. The car has been driven, but down for fine tuning and some tweaking of the intercooler setup and drivability stuff at the moment. It will soon crank like a stock vette and go like mad on demand.

For the record, this is an LS1 that has been SVO sleeved. This engine build started before the LS7 was readily available.

  • can the gtm fit a v-10 engine in it?

  • @redghost105 You could modify it to house a v-10 if you really wanted to, but they have pretty specific needs for a certain engine setup LSx series motors from GM and the porsche transmission. Besides the LS7 with a supercharger puts down more then enough. If you build them right you can beat a ferrari enzo with the v-8 GM motor.

  • mines gonna have 2500hp..haha someday

  • What's with the metallic, tinny rattling? It reminds me of the dry clutch on a Ducati. Annoying...

  • I think it's the valvetrain noise not really being picked up right by the camera mic. I've had a 408 C6 that had that same noise on our initial start video.

  • i'm pretty sure its the procharger whining.

  • @jeepdude275

F1R Procharger makes a lot of noise...

  • @mrskyking737

    Procharger F1R blower...

  • BB Ford or heavy DOHC engine that makes less HP before supercharging?

You did the right thing in using the LSx engine. Twin turbos might be a bit more fun but this is just as just as insane.

  • omg im drooling!

  • also wondering how you get the g50 gearbox to hold that much power?

  • its a GT3 G96 Porsche transaxle

  • Wow I completely missed that in the video :/

  • @Quada03

    its a GT3 trans

  • damn the website isnt even there anymore.

  • my goal is to get one of those one day, but since i bleed FORD Blue, im gonna put the 5.4 Romeo Engine in it.

  • id put in a ford big block with 600HP.. lol. then S/C that.. XD

  • i like your style lol. but if you start with the DOHC 5.4L Romeo you get starting 550hp, then a tune, pully swap and a kennebell supercharger and you have 725rwhp on stock engine parts and pumpgas! booya haha, reply back and tell me what you think

  • sounds sweet but all you need is a kenne bell on the big block ford and lower compression... and you got over 725HP.. and pully that, with a tune.. i think you can get over 750HP out of it :-)

  • Honestly, 725-750 horsepower out of a big block is unimpressive, with the technology of today.

i'm not implying I'm some master drag racer with the fastest car, or all the experience in the world, but, there are 2,000 horsepower small blocks. NRE is getting 2,500 horses out of a 454 LSX block.

Superchargers are just not the way to go anymore, that is if you want serious power that's actually streetable on pump gas.

  • very true but this person has a street legal car.... i don't think 2500HP is very legal XD

  • You can have any amount of horsepower you want on the street, as long as the car it's self is legal, you're running a legal exhaust system, and of course you can run on pump gas.

If someone could figure out how to get 5,000 horsepower, and pass emissions or sound testing, it's legal.

  • really!! sweet shit!!! i thought i was gonna have to not have a powerful car! i guess not.. hehehhe this opens a bunch more doors for me XD

  • You'd think it would open doors for anyone, but the highest amount of horsepower professional builders have managed to get is about 1,700-1,750 on pump gas, which is insane, but nothing compared to race gas engines. Most builders like Tom Nelson are getting 2,600 plus using high octane race gas.

Only problem is, using over 93 octane on the street isn't practical, you'd need to measure out octane boost every tank, and it would not pass emissions.

I'd like to see 2,000 on pump gas.

  • .. lmao.. so would i..

  • a recently read in a performance magazine that one group (i forget their name) was able to twin turbo a MOPAR 440 super commando to 2,042 hp on pump gas....although they didn't say the price....so 725-750 isn't much, but in a car thats 2300lbs its more than enough....high numbers would lead to "character building" experiences every time you took the car out for a run

  • In a car like this, the title is typically a "special construction", and isn't assigned a year of manufacture. In PA, no year of manufacture means no emissions, so go wild

  • Wow, I actually didn't know that.

  • @4sfed7

the certificate of origin dictates the year model, in our case, this is a 2008 despite really not complete yet!

  • damn, i know the stock LS7 will push a GTM 0-60 in 3.0secs flat. what will this do?

  • break traction as soon as you hit the throttle and happily jaunt you into a tree

  • haha, lets hope not. that is a pretty sweet car

  • hey guys, I know the heatco gtm has been finished by now, from what heatco was saying on the factory five gtm forums, they were going to try to break a standing mile record or something like that, I wonder what is the status on the heatco gtm?

  • so powerful, but it sounds like shit.

  • just curious heatco can you fit turbos in the gtm, when i build my car i want to try to fit a pair of 60mm turbos in her, and i wasn't sure if you could put them at the front of the car with the rad and have a bunch of plumbing running back to the engine. wicked ride

  • plz post more of this car. like a track vid. or something. maybe some drag times? idk

  • BorahLion=MORON

  • whats the name of the song?

  • dangerous by decemberadio

  • amazing car btw

  • Hold on.. Now is it me, or do I see a turbo?

    The description said supercharger :-/

I know a turbo when I see one. Is anyone else seeing this?

  • its actually a supercharger.... its just a centrifugal type s/c...

Not all superchargers have to look like the roots type that I am guessing you are thinking of.

  • Lol... Maybe. I'm really confused though.. I alwasy saw superchargers as big lumps you connect via the engine via belt :-/

Turbos are usually the small little gizmos that go "psssssst." lol

  • hehe me too, but this one is driven off of the belt. Also, there is no exaust manifolds going to the charger and no turbine to spin the inlet. Its just the compresser driven off of the belt

If you still don't believe me just google "F1R supercharger".

  • I believe you.. You sound like you know better XD

  • haha

  • Sure, and I was the one in the Bugatti - hehehehahaha

  • I was there too man, I was the guy that ran out of gas in the bright orange 70 Cuda fitted with a Jet engine. What a race!

  • I love this car, and have been a FFR fan for a long time! Did you do anything different with suspension, or are you using the GM parts?

Oh, Please get a better microphone!

  • how many lbs oh boost did u put to that beast??

  • @bostwick1

been running it w/ 8lbs for now...

  • rofl yea i remember that day, i was in the race too, piloting the sr-71 blackbird at mach3. but you beat me with the gtm, then when i landed you made me feel like a loser and you challenged me to a rematch in your 71 mustang. which you won unfairly because my avionics failed

  • Sounds AMAZING!!

  • unbelievable!

  • forget the car I want the motor

  • keomacfarlane your a dipshit a stock GTM does 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds with a stock 1998 LS1 engine which has only 350 hp if this is making 1000 hp which is not a big stretch it will be faster then any supercar including the Areo TT(which is also american and the fastest production car) and Veyron and still cost under $100,000 unlike European supercars so Stfu and stick to your tea and crumpets queer.

  • What the performance ???

  • Exactly what do you do?

  • @keomacfarlane

not exactly sure how to respond to this...

  • @HeatcoUSA

no need, it's ignorance. Please continue to strive towards excellence. thanx

  • @HeatcoUSA

    By leaving engineering to Europeans.

  • @keomacfarlane

and some fine engineering there for sure

  • @keomacfarlane Engineering? Like a Ferrari that blows up at 50,000 miles? Or $500,000 Euro cars that get smoked by $100,000 American cars?

  • @TheOfficialKC the price of the car doesnt generally have to equal its speed. Luxury/ sports cars manufacturers dont sell "cars" they sell art, beauty, power and most importantly STATUS. so while you may be able to drive an 80,000 USD worth bmw m6, i may be in a 8,000 dollar camaro and still be able to smoke your ass. At the end of the day youll be the one with the nicer piece of art.

  • @th3kingflores My comment has nothing to do with class, but engineering. Read the comment it was in response to. An American engineered car is faster, more reliable, and cheaper than a Euro engineered car.

And compare apples to apples. A $60,000 Cadillac CTS-V has as much class as an M5, is slightly faster, and costs $40,000 less. Just one example of what you are talking about.

  • @TheOfficialKC thats precisely what i was talking about. think about it, when most people buy a sporty car theyre buying a brand.not realy caring about the engineering put into it. just as long as it sounds amazing

    and makes you feel alive.

the cadillac cts-v isnt a prime example for this topic since theyre notorious for broken rear ends.

i will give you credit on the price diff. but the caddy is a straightline powerhouse, the m5 is a touring car. for its weight its very quick around the bends.

  • @th3kingflores Engineering IS a big factor in sports car purpose. How do you think brands get a name? Dual clutch paddle shift, manettino, independent suspension, magnetorheological shocks, etc. It is the engineering that builds the name. Engineering is what makes the car fast and reliable.

Again, read the comment mine was in response to.

And since when do CTS-Vs break rear ends? Never heard that. The V is a touring car too, it is as luxurious and comfy as the M5.

  • @TheOfficialKC there is truth in that brother. i guess it all boils down to point of view, i could give two shits about how the car really performs. why? because when it comes down to it, when i tell the chick what car im picking her up in, i bet shed like to hear that im in a porsche or ferrari than a chevy or.. even caddy.

yeah cts-v's are known for breaking the rear end pretty quick. the is and isnt a touring car. its a fast car in a straight line, trying to play the touring game.

  • @th3kingflores So you DO care about performance. The reason Ferrari has a better name than Chevy is because of the high quality engineering and high performance.

    Thanks for proving my point.

And I guess we learned something else about you: You aren't a true car enthusiast. You like cars for the image, not for the driving. Real car people actually like the car; the way it feels, drives, performs, and how enjoyable it is. Not just to try and brag or pick up a chick.

  • @TheOfficialKC lol there you go again trying to make your opinions into facts. the reason you think ferrari has a better name than chevy is because they make supercars. the closest thing ford has been to a supercar is the production of the gt40 and the prototype of the gt90. think of it as an affair, you want to be married to the chevy because shes cute and shell treat you right. but you want to have an affair with the ferrari, shes exotic, and you know shell do things your chevy couldnt fathom.

  • @th3kingflores Thank you for proving my point again.

You want to have an affair with the Ferrari because it does things your chevy couldn't fathom. And these things are, high performance and high quality.

Thank you for proving my point again, but somehow still not realizing it and agreeing that I am right.

  • @TheOfficialKC on the contrary my dear watson, read our messages. YOU'VE been proving me right this whole time. thanks pal ;) lmfao

  • @th3kingflores Are you retarded? I was the one who said engineering and performance mattered. You said it doesn't. Yet all you have done is proven that performance and engineering matter. Thank you.

  • @TheOfficialKC lmfao the moment you start losing your cool all your credibility goes away. lets not forget how you used an invalid point on the caddy cts-v (very stupid of you) and then began using your opinions as facts. lol wow! i win the argument. how does it feel? =D

  • @th3kingfloresThe caddy actually worked well. It is as luxurious/comfy as a M5, slightly faster, and a lot cheaper. You just can't comprehend it.

I never said any opinions were facts.

Now read my last comment. You proved my point.

Now you are trying to attack my credibility because you lost the argument. Typical.

  • @TheOfficialKC lol see? thanks for proving my point! hahahahah SORE LOSER lololol

  • @TheOfficialKC oh and as my reference for the rear end breaking, look up motor trends and other forums ratings on the rear axle of the cadillac. its trash, its not made to support the high power output of the engine

  • @keomacfarlane nahhhhh, i love american cars so much more

  • @keomacfarlane wwwwwooooooooo hoooooo i tell you what im gonna go down to the burger store in my pick up and slap my wife lol sorry that made me laugh and btw you suck penis lol

  • @keomacfarlane this will slaughter any European car you can throw at it. its kit car made for road racing enthusiast its a purpose built race machine its not trying to be anything else its affective not flashy. so why don't you stick to your tea and crumpets or what ever you boring ass people do over there.

  • @keomacfarlane o please the US has the worlds fastest cars what do you have stop trying to say american cars suck

  • @Inklebonker1 scc ultimate aero is the worlds fastest producion car. and guess what theres many corvettes out there that are even faster.

  • @kowclubproductions

no matter what you build, there's always something faster, badder, bigger, etc., just the name of the game. Enjoying the journey is what we're interested in. Once we get all the bugs worked out we will enjoy the car however it compares to the rest of the automotive world.

  • @HeatcoUSA thats all you can do. theres no point in just trying to be the best if you never get to enjoy the car.

  • @HeatcoUSA thats all you can do. theres no point in just trying to be the best if you never get to enjoy the car.

  • @kowclubproductions so.... i like vettes there american my point lives one

  • @kowclubproductions

And then the Bugatti Veyron SS beat the Ultimate Aero like a red-headed stepchild record-wise. I think what Guinness World Records looks for is stock production cars for that particular title. I would certainly love to see a Corvette claim that record, considering it's so much cheaper than either of those cars.

  • @Skidracer21 but it took them a 16.4l w16 engine with quad turbos to do that, scc is a v8 with 2 turbos. plus the ss is there second car, just wait the scc will beat them with there second one.

  • @kowclubproductions actually sadly enough the bugatti made a new veyron called the super sport, buuuutt, ultimate aero is making a new car that will one up it

  • @jaywolflover i love the fact that the germans had to use 16 cylinders and 4 turbos to keep with an american 388ci v8 twin turbo. cant wait to see the new one

  • @kowclubproductions I believe the veyron is french but yeah, the ultimate aero has half the cylinders and half the turbos

  • @kowclubproductions they didnt need to, they probably only used that many cylinders to make it smoother or for shits and giggles, as for the turbos, more turbos dont give you a higher top speed ( look at big power skylines and supras they are generally single turbo conv. ) more turbos give better drivability and less lag, they spin up alot faster, thats why the veyron has over 900 lb/ft at 2200 rpm, comparing the veyron to ultimate aero is a bit pointless really, they are totally different cars

  • Comment removed

  • @keomacfarlane

First of all, what do you mean by "we"? Secondly, we have been building cars like this for over half a century! Third, I assume you're from Europe somewhere so, hop in you're lil Fiat or Smart fortwo and mind your own business. :)

  • she's alive!!!! Way to go guys!
