Not too bad... Back off on that joystick though. The modulation is very un-natural sounding as you're playing your sax patch like a guitar patch :) Don't use pitch to modulate your sax.
well, u can use pitch to mod ur sax, not like ur doing though... dont bend down as much, unless its a ghosty fade, but u can bend up like 20 cents or so to give urself some realistic vibrato. try one finger or a tighter stance on the joystick to gain more control over ur movements
Well actually using modulation brings a lot of life to the sax on keyboard its like vibrato which you realy need to get a good sax sound =) I think you probably mean the pitch bending like you said which is what is making it sound kind of weird lol but anyway Baletto1 thank you so much for the video I wanted to know how the Sax sounded on the M50 and I realy like it keep them comin =)
I know all about modulation. Been a synth player for nearly 30 years myself. I suggested he back off on the "joystick" in general. He's clearly using the pitch to modulate his sound. He's modulating his sax in the way you would if playing a guitar patch. This makes the sound very un-natural. He needs to learn to balance the use of both pitch and modulation. He'll get there. It just takes time and practice.
Oh I see what you mean hes doing the vibrato by pitch bending really fast instead of just pushing up to use the vibrato modulation. and yes it take a lot of practice I bought the M50 and its comn soon I'm so excited!
