  • I remember these!! Never had one, but they are really cute. I liked how in the 80's toys had different genres. This is totally mystic cute. Today it seems like every toy needs to be sexy in order to sell. The 80's had their share of painted faced dolls, but stuffed animals or My Little Pony's were magical and sassy, but not overtly sexy.

  • BRING THE WUZZLES BACK!

  • I have the Bumblelion book, the Tycoon book and I used to have the Hoppo book but I think I Lost it.

  • The grandma was not pleased when the child pressed the wuzzle against her.

"Have you snuggled a wuzzle today?"

    "I'm not even your grandma."

  • can you imagine how popular wuzzles would be now?

  • precious

  • Never had the toys, but I watched the series daily.

  • This is the first Wuzzles commercial long before the Wuzzles cartoon series? That is not Jo Anne Worley voicing Hoppopotamus but someone else!

  • I believe this commercial was made in 1984 (at least according to the date that flashes briefly on screen), and the cartoon series didn't premiere until September of 1985.

  • @heine71 That's definately not Jo Anne Worley.

  • @MrLogoman007 I know!

  • @heine71 Wonder who it was.

  • @MrLogoman007 Maybe an unknown...

  • I have all the stuffed animal wuzzles still right above my bed. But you gotta admit, that was a pretty strange idea to come with....half monkey, half rhino?

  • Strangely enough, I never had any Wuzzles and can't ever remember watching the cartoon. I was more of a Gummi Bears sort of girl, LOL.

  • @AnnainCA Same thing (almost), different network.
