@ValorCore Actually, in your defense, Nightwish IS metal. Epic or "Opera" metal. They get their roots from classical orchestral music, where as rock comes more from blues, though there have been several instances where classical scores were implanted into rock but those could be examples of where metal originated from.

Point is, there are SOO many branches and genres within metal and rock that the lines get blurred and no one truly has a set-in-stone ruling on the matter.
