  • The telescope can see a lit candle 2 mill. miles away, that way it can explain a great many questions astronomers ask. except of course how the lit candle actually got there, who lit it and where did the oxygen needed to sustain the flame originate from:)

  • The Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) will do much more. The Very Large Telescope(VLT) was made years before the Large Binocular Telescope and works a similar way but the TMT will be much more powerful and much bigger.
