I saw Frampton in 1985 at Manny's Music the most famous music store in NYC. I was buying my first guitar and in walks Frampton who looked like a 50+ old rocker back then. I had two copies of his Live album at home but I did not recognize the burned out rocker. I asked him about his band to figure out who he was and he got pissed at me when I didn't recognize him. I guess I bruised his rock star ego. Hey not my fault when you look like 18 on your album and you look like your 50- 9 years later!!

Fantastic !! Now this is music not the crap they play today with kids listening to rap and thinking it's music. I saw Frampton a few years back and he's still amazing after all these years ! !!

Wonderful. Elegant....Comes Alive was such a breathtakingly complete album; a one in a million moment. Sad the original line-up is not here to grow old performing together.

@Chiangmai007 very true about the original lineup but Bob Mayo was there until he passed away. I guess he'd want them to continue on : ) You should really check out frampton's new cd "thank you mr churchill" Its on vinyl also. Its some of his best writing I think and it rocks !

Hey GL4U!!!! It's Dino...Glad to see you're still keeping Pete "Alive" This was actually one of the 1st solo's I learned, from FCA of course, still know it note for note. Gonna see him here in Jersey on the 25th, June. I too have a voice-box, a few actually, the prize possession being a ultra-mint Electro-Harmonix Golden Throat in original box, which never gets used. A dean markley mighty mouth, Jimmy Bean, and a Heil, He used to use a Geico. Anywaay, how are YOU!!!!

Well this was a casino venue. So a little smaller crowd.I dont know for sure but I'd say a few thousand. At the state fair last year tho there were tons of people but much more room there. I agree is a much smaller crowd than the days of the 70's but I like the smaller crowd.

I saw him about this time at the Keswick theater in Pa which holds about 1300 and is not too far from the old JFK stadium where he played to over 60,000 if I recall....Keswick was a far better show to see

I really like Frampton. I lived this back in the 70's.  Framptom Comes Alive was worn out in my record collection

ahhh sounds like a great show ... with robin trower and april wine . I remember them. My best friends name was april and that was her fav band. This year will make 3 years in a row for me on frampton but before that I had seen him once in the 70's when I was like 12 lol. Thanks for the info about your camera too. Im looking for a new one , gonna check it out :)
