So sad with the turtles. I have 4 box turtles from Tennessee that we brought home over 20 years ago. They live in a lovely little area that is walled in beside my house with plants, a dry covered area and I provide them with fresh water and fruits and veggies every day during the warm season when they aren't hibernating. When treated right, they can live for years and years. To see them used for food is just hearbreaking. They actually have little personalities!
