I know this disabled lady who is being illtreated by her mother and brother just because she is disabled and because of thins she has no cvotrol over. Both boys who jumped him were black and Jimeal's parents are trying to play the race card because Mitchell's father is taking him to court. His mother is trying to say that the only reason that Mitchell's father is trying to take Jimeal to court is because he is black and her son did nothign wrong. That her son was just being a kid by robbing Mitchel.
My heart goes out to the Wilson family, Mitchell sounds like he was a wonderful child. It is tragic that an 11 year old boy thought that suicide was his best option.

Some school systems in Republican run states have a policy of ignoring all bullying. Some also claim its the right of students to bully others because its their faith that gays are immoral. This us the most often used example of bullying now.
Honestly I believe there is more that needs to be done besides educating and monitoring, we need staff, teachers, etc who are truly capable empathizing with anyone who is being bullied. Not all but a fair amount of teachers, professors, authority figures seem to be busier with their paychecks and mortgage payments then their jobs.
