  • I had my gallbladder out two weeks ago.. I was in so much pain I was passing in and out .. I went to the ER 4 times telling them there was something really wrong... They told me all I wanted was the pain Meds... And acted like I was a crake head... I finally went to a different hospital ... They did some test and took me back for emergency sugary I had bile duck leak and if I would have waited one more day I would not have lived... I hope your ok

  • @frogsms Ugh! That is so frustrating!! Having a chronic illness where they think we are faking it all the time, I totally understand!! I had a HIDA scan done then that showed that I didn't have a leak or more stones. Its just because I am already very sick with other things and they really messed with my liver, that I had a harder time with the pain.

I'm so sorry to hear about your nightmare! But I am very glad you caught it in time, that is super scary.

  • whats up with youtube dude, this video only just came up in my video box and the last two never did!..wtf? anyhoo...what kind of doctor deals with the gallstones? and oh okay i asked what HIDA was in my email to you, scratch taht...oh gosh i cant believe how much stuff you have been going through every day :*(..sorry if i keep repeating questions or forget stuff, but can you drive? like how do you get to all your appointments? <3 man i hope you are feeling better thinking of you lots & lots!

  • When I had my gallbladder out, the recovery was relatively easy. But, a few years later when I was put back on Rocephin I started having what felt like gallbladder attacks again. We suspected it was sludging in my bile duct, I stopped the Rocephin and we decided I just can't be on that antibiotic again. It's possible it was actually the start of gastroparesis symptoms but it really felt like gallbladder pain so I suspect it was the sludging. Are you still on Rocephin?

  • @penguini1982 No, I've been on an abx break for the last month (blessing since all this stuff has happened during this time!). I wasn't allowed to start the Rocephin back up until I got cleared by my surgeon's office. I saw the Dr. there today and she said the HIDA scan looked great and that it is likely taking me longer to recover since I have chronic pain and illness already. Plus, they told me they cut something off my liver, and really moved things...

  • @penguini1982 ....around in there. So I likely just have a LOT of bruising and soreness going on. They gave me a few more pain pills and we'll just wait a couple weeks and hope it heals up nice! I'm starting the Rocephin back up next week but I still have to be on actigall, I guess to help prevent stones, or something.
