(1) Many parts in the US have much stricter gun laws than Canada. Check out Chicago. You'll also find that the places in the US with the strictest gun laws have the highest crime rate and vice versa..
(2) In Canada we are repealing some gun laws (our gun registry) because they simply didn't work.
(3) There is an assault rifle in almost every home in Switzerland yet they have very low gun crime.
