dedicated servers work better than xbox's peer to peer servers..why do you think ppl lag so much on gears1 and 2..?

becuase there isnt that many people on gears 1 and two any more so it picks people out at distance, so you get me from britain playing with a dude from australia. That means the connection is going to suck ass. When on opular games such as CoD and Halo you generally get people who live close by. this means the connection is really great.

i dont agree with what you are saying..i play resistance 2 60 ppl online, killzone 2, 32 ppl online, even uncharted 2 beta works better than gears, and its 10ppl online just like gears..non of the games i named lag..the only game that lags a bit is socom, and when i say lag, i dont mean glitch and moving really slow..i mean it just takes 1 or 2 more minutes before entering and leaving a match..dedicated servers work alot better than peer to peer..

Because if you live there then im pretty sure your quite close to some game servers. Meanwhile people in europe and places that arent as lucky and have to connect to servers very far away. For that reason european gamers can suffer from more lag than a lucky guy like you would on psn. do you at least get where im coming from man? =]

When a company only has a few servers, say germany and france in europe, then it means I have to connect to a server in england across the sea which means that the game is more laggy than just playing relatively locally on xbox live. When you have 256 players connecting to a dedicated server it will become weak, and certainly some players will suffer with heavy heavy lag.

Sony have announced a new game called Agent which is a PS3 exclusive. The Metal Gear game in this video was for the PSP. And MGS Rising is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

Dont be hasty, Square Enix have said they are considering FFXIV for the 360 but it will be out first on PS3. It is also coming to the PC on the same day as the PS3.

The things is, natal can do everything that motion controller can and more. Some gloves with green sopts on would allow it to do all of the things show in sony's demo.

I might get a PS3 over the summer and Sony's conference showed me some games that look great (MAG, Ratchet and Clank, Agent, FF13 +14 and GOW3) Hopefully I can afford some of it. The Sony motion control was not supposed to be in the conference at first they just saw Microsoft's motion and Nintendo's control and saw that they had to show that they were working on some type of motion control. Can't want for E3 2010!!!
