I love it - but my one critism is with raven - hes trying to hard to be "Evil" - in most horrors minimal is better.
sometimes the uses of symbolism and the minimal use of acting and "speech" really does act stronger than words - EG if she woke up in that dingy room (garage shed or whatever) then just escaped it would still have the same effect as the audience would know what happened (she met up with raven) at this point i think theres no need for dialogue. the object codes should say it all.
I thought this was really well done by everyone involved.
I liked the decisions made.
In this day and age, I personally think it's alright to experiment and to tell a story in a unique way instead of the cliched mainstream-Hollywood pattern.
And believe me, the acting was fine! I personally don't even think it was as over the top as some claim, but that's MY opinion, what do I know? (Trust me, tis better to have energetic actors than a monotonious, robotic delivery ANY day!)
You are a brilliant cinematographer but I think the two things that are letting you down are your actors and your narrative. I found the narrative didn't really fit together too well, the development was a little confusing.
Your night lighting was brilliant and the scene flashing between running and crying on the pavement was perfect. Your day shots are lacking something I can't put my finger on though.
Overall though it's really well done, MASSIVE PROPS; can't wait to see more films. :)
Very interesting film, great use of color. I think the colors described what she was feeling which was a very cool way of telling the audience with out actually telling them up front. Nice job
There are a few things I don't like, however, such as the 'crossroad' not being a crossroad at all... it's an intersection :P although I guess 'The Intersection' is a pretty stupid name for a film.
The acting was pretty good, and the story was rather good as well. The #1 thing I liked about it, however, was the editing. The going back to the crossroad thing was awesome. :D
Nice little short, although the actingwork isn't good and too much at some moments. The music suits the film perfectly and I enjoy the different situations the lead character is in.
Your school had a dolly? I'm jealous. If we ever wanted a dolly we had to hold the camera whilst riding a skateboard. Nice one!

Nicely done, even with inexperienced actors. Didn't need the narration since the visuals did a great job carrying the story.

This is beautiful. I love the transitions between the 'roads' - its almost otherworldy. And the colouring is stunning.

Damn, hate it when that happens. They always get away. ;P
Awesome film, actors are just a little over dramatic, still pretty good. Camera work's brilliant and the music works great. ;D

Nice! It turned out pretty good! If there is one thing you are fantastic at it is the prettiness of each shot. Each shot's focus is almost perfect. :)
That being said, yes there is a bit of a slight letdown with some points in the acting, but not anything that is too bad. :)
I love the match cuts used at the beginning when she is going to confront her friends/ walk into her house.
I love that you have continually improved which each short film you have made. :) Keep it up!
