@iade38 :) i think that her new album... 50 words for snow... may prove you wrong -- at least as far as Kate is concerned. it would be sad if she never ever ever wrote or recorded another song, but even if that happened Kate has already blessed the world with more creativity than most of us will ever duplicate. I hope you give her new work a fair listen.
Embedded yet inexplicably separate. I concurr with fuckwhits evaluation : a significant contribution to the art made inside the prison re- the tantalizing cosmos, competently blending various 'genres'. Older, wiser, maturer.
Grown-upper.
Substantially pleased by this disturbing revisit - in all its tragic sadness. 7/10.
@huitzil07 This track is taken from Director's Cut. Her new CD will not be out untill mid November, but her new single, Wild Man came out last monday.
Bush is a musical tower and will remain. She's just perfect in Molly Bloom's last words. As for the video, excellent job in a seemingly impossible task. Thank you for the work and for making it available for all to enjoy.
@abritosa Thank you very much for your comment. It is always a joy to make videos for Kate's songs and with her new CD coming out in November. Well, I just can't wait.
I heard a brief snatch of this extraordinary song on a quiz programme (Radio 4's 'Round Britain Quiz' )and was utterly mesmerized and quite desperate to discover who the artist was. What joy to discover it was someone I loved.
There are so many attempts to blend genres but when it works like this it's so sublime.
The video itself falls short of the music in my humble opinion.
@banberry2112 I did not dislike the video, I only remarked that it falls short of the song which is it at a very high level. There are wondrous things in the montage - not least Kate's enthusiastic dancing - but there are moments where the mixture of landscape background and dancing figures does not quite gel. Quibbles only.
@jahaniman I agree with you about the song. This new version is brilliant. I made the video on my PC with PowerDirector9. So don't blame Kate for the video. I thought it was a good attempt for an amateur like myself. But i appreciate your honesty and thank you for leaving a comment.
Kate's voice reminds me that I've moved on in years too, not even realizing it the way I feel. A maturity, a different perspective on things as I once had. The embellishment was interesting but I couldn't help but remember the Elton John Good By English Rose.
@2ubester2 I love the fact that generation after generation embrace her music. It shows how far ahead she was with her creativity. Thank you very much for your comment.
goose bumps... wow... i think this is the first time i've been watching a whole ballet clip from the first second to the last! it fits PERFECTLY the song to the ballet even though i like the old version of the song (a little bit) better! Kudos to the choreographer and the "actors"!
@biggoodness Thank you very much. Le Parc, Laurent Hilaire and Isabelle Guérin. Choreography Angelin. When i was making the Directors videos. I made this the second part of a life trilogy video.
'This Woman's Work' was part one the birth of life. Part two 'Flower Of The Mountain' the evolution of life and part three is 'The Song Of Solomon' about the end of life,. Unfortunately i reworded This Woman's Work again and managed to get the full story in that video. Thank for your interest.
@kate4ever1 I think with Kate's music you need a certain kind of imagination. This is shown by the ambidextrous nature the fans see her music in images. This video would never have been made if i had not watched the many amazing and very dedicated Kate fan's videos on Y/T. Like a pyramid affect.
@kate4ever1 Thanks again. I always try to put more imagination into any Kate videos i do. because her Y/T fans are some of the most creative video makers on Y/T.
The choreography is amazing, really goes with the song.

"more effort into kate vids than any other" * by that i mean the videos, not other ppl that make videos. thought i'd better clear that up. LOL.

that is so true about the kate vids on YT. but also the fans can be the harshest too.
