i live in nyc. this video reminds me of an occurrence on saturday, 9/16/01. i was with a friend on the subway going from brooklyn to uptown, manhattan. a firefighter in partial gear got on the train at one of the downtown stops (near the trade center) and took a seat. he was dusty. we all looked at him and fell silent. when my friend and i got up to leave the train a few stops later, i said to him, "thank you". he said, "no problem". he knew what i meant. i almost burst into tears on the spot.

i live in nyc. this video reminds me of an occurrence on saturday, 9/16/01. i was with a friend on the subway going from brooklyn to uptown, manhattan. a firefighter in partial gear got on the train at one of the downtown stops (near the trade center) and took a seat. he was dusty. we all looked at him and fell silent. when my friend and i got up to leave the train a few stops later, i said to him, "thank you". he said, "no problem". he knew what i meant. i almost burst into tears on the spot.

As an American I find myself ashamed of the denial i once had around 9/11. years pass and finally become convinced that this was not in fact about Bin Laudin or the Taliban, but rather a conspiracy with the biggest fat white men smoking cigars on capital hill. a can see one building collapsing (beaing a fluke of nature.....1 in a 1,00,000) but two buildings then three...... oh man, ur right. I never noticed that. the video of the 1st plane hitting the 1st tower shows the firemen getting confused when they hear the sound of a plane. but at 1:58 this guy is sitting right under a burning building like he's oblivious of it. and then doesn't notice the sound of a plane when he should freak out knowing a building was hit about half an hour ago. there was no plane, just images added later!! also pause at 2:06 and decide if that looks like a plane. it was a tragic day!!

Yeah because its completely unreasonable to think that George W. Bush misspoke at one point, especially under that much pressure. He was told what happened and immediately left the room, do you really think he watched it happen in person and not on video (so he was in NY), then he went to Florida to an elementary school so he could cover it up by pretending to be doing something else? If they knew it was going to happen why the fuck would they schedule him to be somewhere like that at that time?

the whole wind thing people are going on about doesnt make much sense, the heat from the fires wud probably be so hot that the winds wudnt be have much effect on it so close to the source of the flames.
but yeah ... scary stuff!
