Oh, well he has had really bad back problems since he was 16 and has had episodes on and off. They have been happening more frequently over the years which is why the guitar tech has to fill in on some tours or parts of them for him. The last one he had, he couldn't even feel his legs because of the extensive nerve damage and was in a hospital for a long time and might not have been able to walk again.
