  • How again did the wf take over and not WcW?

  • yeah, thats Meatloaf...but hello? Thats Cyndi Lauper in the wig as Mona Flambe!

  • Fuck'em I don't clap I just kiss my biceps.....

  • "AND IT GOES LIKE THIS!"

    Sing it Hammer!

  • hulk is such a yo yo!

  • Seriously, if you had never seen this before, and someone told you that Meatloaf tossed Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff a bass drum to bash into Roddy Piper's head, would you believe it? Doubtful, and I wouldn't either.

  • Roddy Piper is GOD. If you disagree, I will fight you

  • Brings back memories of the WWF, when wrestling was entertaining, not the BS today which is WWE.

  • looks like alot of steroids, oil, and half naked men.

    can ya dig it?

  • Dammit this brought me back.. Thanks for uploading this.

  • LOL at Piper "You can take the Goonies, stick the Goonies up your nose". Im assuming he's talking to Cyndi Lauper.

  • this was back when wrestlers actually had talent.

  • stop saying they're on drugs. they were just having fun!

  • 0:44 "you got the moves like the sheik...you GAY FAGGOT!!"

  • Rowdy Roddy Piper.......lol........by far the most talented pro wrestler ever. The guy was a beast who could entertain everybody.

  • Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak!

  • God, I love wrestlers.

  • Is that maurice tillet at front..? thought he died at 1954..?

  • Could you imagine if the Ultimate Warrior was on this?

  • Who was the chick in the band with the big hair?

  • @SpookyHelder cyndi lauper

  • @ST8URCASE Heh, I should have know! Thanks a lot!

  • @ST8URCASE No, i think it is wendi richter

  • who's the first guy? Oddjob/random task?

  • @UnbIacken That, of course, is the legendary Mr. Fuji -- but he had been known to throw a shoe from time to time.

  • @UnbIacken That is Mr. Fuji

  • 4:26 - I can't believe Paul Orndorff hit Bobby Heenan on the head with a drum here, now that I realize how serious Heenan's history of neck injuries was.

  • They should've got Wilson to join them

  • I never knew the Missing Link was in the WWF back then! Or maybe it just slipped my mind... Either way, he wasn't pushed well enough if my memory is failing me...

  • This was when wrestling was actually cool

  • Respond to this video... FUCK

  • @thebrb30000 I thought the same thing..maybe it's because he had just started with the WWF.

  • Goddamn...cocaine, is in fact, a hell of a drug.

  • The heels were so much cooler than the babyfaces, no wonder they did most of the singing. And what about Bret dancing in the background? fucking hilarious

  • can't see the current crop doing anything this fun... even the Rock did that Pie song with Slick Rick...

  • 0:43 fuck the hulk hogan make him humble

  • Hilarious!

  • How come it seems like everything was better in the 80's?

  • @stvhar Because, in fact, it was.

  • You got to move like da da Sheik!!!

  • I like how they seperate the babyface's and heel's....miss these days

  • Loved it!! the WWF was Better than the WWE! Fun Times!!

  • Hooties at 2:10!

  • As im watching this I cant help but notice how many of those guys are dead.

  • @304fannin In terms of death toll, this music video doesn't hold a candle to some of WWE's later telecasts. Summerslam 91 says hello.

  • WWF? More like WTF. >.<

  • I'm embarassed to say I was part of the 80's

  • Is that the singer MEATLOAF on the drums?????? If it is did he REALLY need the paycheck at that time? LOL

  • @Looking1231 It is Meat Loaf...And that's Cyndi Lauper with the black wig and sunglasses playing the bass.

  • @Looking1231 It's called fun, friend!

  • @MaskedMan66 No doubt amigo! Just was kind of a nice weird surprise to see him in it being somewhat of a Meatloaf fan from that era.

  • @Looking1231 Ah, gotcha. It's pretty clear that Mr. Marvin Lee Aday doesn't care what people have to say about him, being that he did this and also "Spice World." And God bless him for that!

  • @MaskedMan66 You are correct. That is why I am a Meat fan! The record that he had out (Or about to released called Blind Before I Stop) is stil a personal favorite of mine. God bless the Meat Man!!!

  • @Looking1231 I like any celebrity who doesn't take himself too seriously. Especially these days, that's like a breath of fresh air.

  • @Looking1231 Yes it is, and yes he probably did. Until his very successful comeback in the early 90's, Meat Loaf was considered a joke by many people. And because his comeback was such a big success, most people forget that Meat Loaf had been more or less relegated to the scrap heap of music history in the 80's. But, like Neil Young, the Bee Gees, and others who were considered done in the 80's, he returned in a big way.

  • @superbuick That is right. In his book, To Hell And Back, in his lean years he had a great line when he was almost going to play at a former 7-11. He said, in effect, OK, I draw the line at playing 7-11's!!

  • @Looking1231 holy crap that's totally meat loaf.

  • Took me a second to notice Ricky the Dragon in this.

  • SD Jones!

  • What the heck was that thing at the end?

  • @dsmsbest The beginning of the video "Fade to Grey" by Visage, apparently.

  • ok so it wrestlecrap but must have been so much fun at the time lol

  • I forgot about this....LMAO! This was back when wrestling was fun and entertaining. I grew up with the WWF, WCCW, and NWA! I love my childhood! Kinda feel sorry for the current young generation with the WWE!

  • at 3:30 is that meat loaf on drums

  • @ralphs400 yes it is my friend

  • @ralphs400 Yes, that is Meatloaf on drums. His singing career wasn't doing very well at the time of this video. Cyndi Lauper "plays" guitar in this video in a wig. Lauper also participated on the album as a backing vocalist on "Real American" and as producer of "Captain" Lou Albano's track under the pseudonym "Mona Flambé".

  • This must have been a hell of a lot of FUN!!! LOL.

  • Wow! What a great compillation! I recall this cideo being played on: Samantha Taylor's Video Hits, Good Rockin' Tonight, Much Music -- Video Flow and even on Hulk Hogan's Rock & Wrestling. It was shown everywhere!

  • Does anyone know who the wrestler is at 0:33. The one with the face paint grabbing is head?

  • @ween0 Yeah, that was The Missing Link. He was only with the WWF for a few months, between the first and second wrestlemania. He's since died, but I don't know from what.

  • @ponyboy314 Sadly, The Missing Link died from cancer. Its one of the top 5 things that wrestlers tend to die from. I wonder why?

  • Was that Gatorwolf at 0:53? I'm pretty sure it's not Chief Jay, and I can't think of any other Native American characters from that era.

  • Its so weird seeing Bret Hart trying to have fun behind Neidhart. He looks so awkward.

  • the coke years of pro wrestling. It was a freaky time, but I liked it as a kid growing up then.

  • @22centman36 Even Vince admitted he was experimenting with drugs back then... "Cocaine is a hell of a drug" -Rick James

  • @22centman36 coke, or just adults having fun?

  • Ahh the good years of WWE/WWF.

  • I would be interested in seeing a remake using today's superstars and divas. To replace Piper having the last word they could have Cena give everyone a Attitude Adjustment at the end to make CeNation happy.

  • @FrontSeven893Storm So would I. Even if it's not a true remake but a modern version of the same idea. New Generation = new songs to cover. Like Cena covering Ice Ice Baby .

  • wrestlers or not this song fuckin rocks

  • Best part of the song is when Iron Sheik yells, "One more time!!!!!!!!!!!!" Of course, it sounds actually like, "Vun morrrre time"

  • good lord

  • I feel old. I remember watching this when I was a kid. I grew up with this...

  • Comment removed

  • What... the... fuck... What did I just watch?!

  • RIP Macho Man <3 ;Damn I Miss Those Days !

  • Despite the number of legends in this video, the coolest one is Mean Gene

  • Meatloaf on the drums?

  • YES YES YES THIS ROCKS!

  • Thats weird that the 2 people who later went on to become WWF champion in this video dont have a singing line: Macho Man Randy Savage and Bret the Hitman Hart.

  • lmfao at paul orndoff kissing his biceps that was funny as hell

  • Wow this is a big throwback...

  • Just leave it to Roddy to spoil a good time(LOL)!!!!I miss those days in wrestling.

  • LMAO @ Roddy Piper - You can take those goonies, stick the goonies in your nose!

  • at the 0:54 mark that looks like stephanie don't it?

  • Is that Meatloaf at 1:07?

  • Where's Kirchner????

  • @Derby14- Its 3:20am and I thought the same thing. I got a big laugh out of this comment. Im from Texas and I dont see Tito Santana

  • @thesnake32 Good point...he was probably tagging with Kirchner at whatever house show was running that night...

  • I totally agree with you TPratch!!

  • I can only see The Great Khali doing this if they did this today...

  • you would never see the guys today doing this

  • RIP half these guys =(

  • this was shot 25 yrs ago of course some have kids right now

  • And to think, some of these guys have kids in the WWE right now, lol

  • Never get tire of this, a true classic!

  • I got into wrestling about a week after Hogan beat the Sheik. This was a great album. A lot of great memories. Me and my buddy were, and to a degree I still am, the Marky Marks of Marktown. I know a little about storyline, kayfabe, and such. Nowdays I still have a lot of fun watching WWE and cheer who I want to cheer and boo who I want to boo. It's all about having fun and not taking it as seriously as too many do.

  • I'll rap you with my cane, you pencil neck geek.

  • About almost all of them are in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

  • Wait a minute ... is that MeatLoaf playing drums at about 1:06?!?

  • @solentgrn It sure is!

  • lot more cheerful than the wrestlers these days it seems. only guys that r this cheerful in my generation these days is cena and santino. and hornswaggle.

  • I wonder how much coke these guys went through in the filming of this.

  • when wrestling was great this era will never be repeated

  • when wrestling was great

  • best version ever

  • The lady with black hair looks a lot like Cyndi Lauper.

  • @lthrfacebubba It is Cyndi Lauper. She was "involved" with the wrestling storylines back in the 80s.

  • @lthrfacebubba I'm pretty sure that's Wendy Richter.

  • that was way back when vince mcmahon wasnt an asshole!

  • This beats the super bowl shuffle i say, these great legends made us scream and shout from all around country all the way . with great wreslters like Hogan, Andrea the Giant, Macho Man, Jake the Snake, Ultimate Warrior, Bret the Hitman Hart, Rick Rude, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, British Bulldog, Bundy, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jessie the Body, Ric Flair, Iron Sheik, it's impossible to include everyone I'm sad to say, thank you Vince Mcmahon for keeping it strong all over the world and the USA!

  • add my mate TheMysterio1995

  • Lmao @ Orndorff @ 1:52

  • what the hell is Meatloaf doing on the drums?

  • With this caliber of talent on their roster, wwf tv shoulda been a thousand Xs better than it was. There's no excuse

  • " I'm gonna slice ya like a French fried potato"/"I'm gonna crush ya and I'll see you later"-nice way 2 give a shoutout 2 the east-west connection(Adonis n Ventura)

  • If Jim Cornette has a reaction to this, I want to know about it.

  • LOL@VINCE

  • I had this CD and played it to death. Love this stuff.

  • I dont talk too god but my pig talk a whole lot betta. LOL

  • Wrestling and wrestlers are so much more self concious nowadays.

  • HULK IS SUCH A YO-YO

  • This brings back memories!

  • I agree with TPratch! Hardly any of them r in shape lol! but they were all very entertaining...I loved watching them. They had heart and soul for wrestling. The only reason i watch it today is John Cena and now they have did something stupid with him to.

  • WTF is with that guy at 2:37?

  • mr. wonderful=Chris Masters

  • that meatloaf on drums?

  • @weedfan Yeah, Meatloaf on drums. He most likely did this as a favor for Jim Steinman, who was producing the album.

  • I never realised how focused the lyrics were on the heels side until I saw this video. The faces hardly get any lines at all...

  • They need to do this stuff again.

  • I was waiting for the underatker to do the thriller dance and moon walk :P

  • ''Hulk is such a YOYO''...LMAO!!

  • I have not seen this video in years. This was great. Paul Ondorff kissing his biceps was funny as hell.

  • OMG THE HART FOUNDATION TOO?!

  • Somebody should do a remix of this, and add Iron Sheik's more "colorful" language during his singing parts.

  • How embarrassing.

For me, I used to jam to this as a 7-8 year old.

  • Was that meatloaf on the drums on this video ..

  • @jazzbo1974 Yep, Meat Loaf is on drums. Cyndi Lauper is also in disguse playing guitar.

  • @acehighpat Yup, that was Cyndi's alter ego Mona Flambe.

  • @acehighpat Looks a lot like Jubille, doesn't she?

  • @MaskedMan66 Jubilee from the X-men? Yeah, she does look a lot like her.

  • @acehighpat That's the one! And I just realized I misspelled Jubilee the first time, pardon. But she's got all her colors and the shades; the hair's bit different, but not a style Jubie wouldn't wear.

  • Who was the guy at 1:39?

  • @Amr3561 I thought it was Harley Race, but it's Johnny Valiant, who managed Valentine and Brutus at the time.

  • Hey, was that Meat Loaf?

  • DON'T BE SUCH A DILDO!!!!!!!!

  • I also found out that the lady singer is Cindy Lauper with a Black Wig and Shades on.

  • Is my eyes playing tricks on me or is that a 1980's "Meatloaf" playing the Drums?

  • @Jazzy9964 That's Meat Loaf all right. Good catch.

  • It's sad to realize that half of these guys are dead.

  • vince mcmahon saying "I said clap your hands" always cracks me up

  • R.I.P. Captain Lou!

  • @Ethercast Amen, God rest his soul. Hilarious guy and a great showman.

  • ohhhhhh hoowwwww these were daays <3333333 :(

  • Wow I remember this. I was 10yrs old when I saw this.

  • WOW! Rotunda looked like Roma at :58!

  • Orndorff kissing his biceps is my favorite part....

  • @CountryRoadTrip The best part was that he did it literally the whole video. I may do this move at the bar tonight.

  • <3 Piper. Guy is just awesome.

  • Meat Loaf is suberb!!!

  • Where's HULK HOGAN ??

  • @MrTESLA05 On the cover of the album. :-/

  • This Is A HUGE Classic !!!!!!!!

  • maaan...cold u ever see ww"E" doing somethig like this thesedays? and if they did it would be garbage...this was the golden era...u felt so much love/hatred for these wrestlers...today with the exception of a few...its lacking BIG time and will never get it back...love this video...all these wrestlers i remember

  • @malhi1987 As with just about everything else in every area of entertainment nowadays, there's no sense of fun anymore.
