  • when you do this do the logos and paint get black? or change color?

  • What did you use to cover up the insert or did you?

  • @MKotthoff 1. Wide, Clear Packaging tape, 2. overlap on Steel trimmed carefully with a sharp small hobby knife or Scalpel lnife, 3. Adhesive removed with T-shirt cloth and denatured alcohol. Bluing will not react with adhesive spots or through a plastic barrier and turn the copper surface black. Partitioning off the two areas not to be blued is mentioned in the about the putter bluing version of the video.

  • can you so this with vokey wedges?

  • wow that is cool, i am thinking of doing it to my putter, do i just dip it in or what do i have to do to prep it

  • dude just shave your head youll look soo much better

  • when i first saw this it was hard to watch a cameron being messed with hahaha

  • how much will you charge for me to send you my scotty cameron to blue?

  • was it silver before >??

    i have a 9mm browning high power

and it has parts whare the paint is off

how can i turn it black what do i exactly need to do ?

  • Very nice job there, looks great after your work

  • where do you get the solution from? how much does it cost

    thanks,jolly

  • You wouldn't have to worry about it rusting its stainless steel.

  • older camerons are carbon steel

  • i dont get why you did this...what does it do to the putter

  • It made it look nice, and it protects it from rust.

  • The club looks great, but how did you get off the pit marks that were on the top of the blade before you blued it?

  • Do you you mean the silver marks in the bluing at the top? They were rubbed with "final finish" synthetic steel wool and denatured alcohol and then reblued into the same container, but the bluing was not removed. The reblue was not shown, just that it was now fixed. Post -rinse in water and heat-dry with low temperature heat gun same as before.

  • @jeffc2896 The rust that was in the pitting was removed by spinning stainless wire wheels on a Dremel.

  • The rust that was in the pitting, not the gouging was removed by spinning stainless wire wheels on a Dremel. All of the metal was silver before bluing.

  • What does bluing do for the club?

  • It restores the way it is supposed to look.

  • No it isn't. Its called restoration. In fact, this product is being considered by the Scotty Cameron People for a conversion for it's extreme superiority noted in ruggedness. Ruggedness together with color is a good thing. Preparation is required to get both color and ruggedness as noted. Preparation is simple. Just no extreme contamination, or gray is the result. Both the copper alloy and steel shaft are protected from bluing. See the preparation video first.

  • isnt this illegal?...i know you can paint on lines, paint the back of the club, etc., but because it affects the face im pretty sure this could be considered modifying the club.

  • Its not illegal to modify a club by painting or whatever...your misunderstanding that rule, it means that a club can not be modified during a round; such as slamming and bending a putter, is a IN-ROUND modification which is illegal, but if you stop using the club and don't hole out with it there is no penalty

  • not bad..

  • Wow. You made that thing look great.

  • Thank you for your comment. It can be reused for multiple products. The prmary reason I did this was to see if it would work. I poured it into a seperate gallon container for reuse, leaving the remaining fresh of the second quart fresh. HDPE plastic, not the water or milk jugs. Poor man's budget are blue Auto Windshield jugs. Rinse it out with water first. It's cheap. It's the kind the gallons are sold in, and free once the liquid is used for Auto use. The lids are strong too.

  • Now the hosel on that putter head sits behind the face which I love. My newport 2 proplatinum has the hosel just right on the face which I hate. What newport 2 models can I buy that will have that great set up? Do you have one you could sell?

    thanks

  • Wonderful product. That looks a lot easier, and better then some of other products I've tried. Thank you for putting a video up on this. Can one re-use the solution for multiple projects (back into the bottle)?
