My friend introduced me to this band, I love LAM's music and I like Sean Brennan for being smart, talented and an activist (not to forget beautiful & sexy). But why do I get the impression that anything about LAM always has to end up in some Bible-extended-version-type-of-length discussion (was this sentence long + squiggled enough)? In most cases you talk to a wall = casting pearls before swine. "Less words / more hits in the head with a high heel" is often the only lesson that can be taught.

You're just guessing. Musicians make the bulk of their money from music sales. There are also musicians who do not tour. Touring is a 2nd job as a musician. Touring pays below poverty wages for 98% of bands. This is not about "natural selection'. It's about facts. You have none.

When you steal music or make it so people can listen to it without compensating the artist then you're making it so real artists can no longer produce music.
