I've seen the movie, and actually the way he says "Michelle" is a very character driven thing. Throughout the film, whenever he says her name, it's almost like a whine or a moan (although not always in such a pitchy manner.) You don't get that with anyone else but Michelle. I would say why I think he says her name the way, but I don't want to give too much away.
She seems so beautiful and down to earth. Love her in Channel 4s Comedy; Fresh Meat.

Yes he did. It's not "Rupert's voice" because it's "Malachy's voice." Malachy doesn't not sound like Rupert....
