Man what a great guy !!! all his interviews he is constantly a modest and nice man. As for the comments on his hair..who cares, and who cares if he is not telling the truth about it. Maybe he is insecure about it, arent we all insecure about somethings ? Also he does play is old songs, he just doesn't want it to be an 80's tour. He wants most of the focus on new material :)

I agree, Gary Numan comes accross as very down to earth. Gary Numan is very innovative and influential musician, who revolutionised pop music and became the first, true synthesizer star. I think it's about time that Gary Numan gets full recognition and be acknowledged for his fantastic contribution to pop music.

I have been a musician for 30 years and after that time you can see the genius in terry bozzio to Igor Stravinsky for technique....To the beatles for the pure genius in the song writing. Nothing wrong with someone having some cosmetic work done such as a hair transplant when their career relies upon their looks to a great extent. Its not even about vanity in that situation. But when its just someone doing it for pure vanity and they are not a performer it is excessive and usually degenerate.

As much as I would like it to be his real hair, I don't think it is. I know he says differently in his autobiography but I think for once he's not telling the truth. Anyone who has doubts should look at pictures of Lyle Menendez. Same style and density and it turned out to be a wig.

i think its real, his hairline is too far back for it to stay on if it was a wig. and the type of dye he uses can effect how thick the hair looks.

He based his thing on Bowie, whether he admits it or not, with all the different images, makeup, and then Gary also did that blond-brunette-blond-brunette thing which has him reminding me a lot of Madonna! So of course he's gonna be shaken up by early baldness.
