This is a bad song, the singer doesn't show any dedication to the song/give it any meaning. Rammstein is 30x better, at least Till actually dedicates himself to his songs and puts real meaning into them.

The German version sounds much better than the English from the Truth or Dare album. The vocal edit pre-chorus is better. The tone throughout is angrier and the language only extends the harshness :D (Plus the new version has an annoying piano randomly in it).

he acutally said "mit deinem Herz aus Gold", but you're right, English is, at least partially, based on German. there are a lot of cognates and half-cognates, but grammar is done very differently, and it can be very confusing when you first start learning it.

Why are some people comparing Slipknot to Oomph? Slipknot has 9 band member, Oomph seems to only have 3 (besides when they're live), The music isn't even the same, not even the same kind of metal! I prefer Oomph over all but I also like Slipknot. I wouldn't compare them because it would be comparing apples to oranges.

Like when Dir en grey remade their songs "Dozing Green" and "Glass Skin" the original japanese versions were way better, the same with OOMH!, the german is better than the english versions. I mean, I understand if they're trying to get more english-speaking fans, but this remaking their songs isn't necessary to make that happen.

Yeah, they don't have an official bassist as a member of the band either, but they do use a permanent touring musician for their live shows. The drummer that they use in a lot of their shows is named "Leo," and I actually prefer his drumming (though live) to Dero's studio work.

And aye, Oomph! are have principally been industrial metal throughout their career and as they've progressed they've added more and more Gothic elements to their lyrics.
