  • It kinda sucked that he only lasted one game

  • Solidus Snake was so badass. He was evil, but his beliefs were great and liberarianish. He was a pretty narcissistic fellow who had great rhetoric (ideal for a politician mind you!)

You can pretty much see this when you're fighting him. "I'll let you go out in sttylle!"

Then near the end when he yells "THE SONS OF LIBERTY!"

  • His ends were noble, but his means were wrong.

  • amazing sound track, amazing game

  • @DuckmandanUK yeah boi!

  • The PERFECT clone of Big Boss! :)

  • I would have liked to have seen Solidus' capabilities without the muscle suit :o

  • @Snow3103 Talking about father and son not brother and sister

  • @Snow3103 They didn't share genes but he did raise Raiden as a soldier

  • Solidus was the most dissapointing villain ever!

He looked better with the cape and he died way too quickly!

  • @BurgerKing201 Way too quickly? Yeah, in the ending of the game! sheesh

  • Solidus was strong but not as strong as Liquid

    HOU HA !

  • Love this guy and his theme; too bad it's too short.

  • @HeX4869 the son usually always beat

  • How could Raiden defeat this guy? Bullshit!

  • @TheShame311 the son usually always beat the father, thus as history repeats itself

  • @TheShame311 Perhaps it's because Raiden is a total badass... Who else in the Metal Gear series destroyed 22 Metal Gear Rays in one fight and a harrier? No one.

Raiden and Solidus are both awesome.

  • I feel really conflicted about Solidus. I think that he really did mean well, and truly thought that he was doing the right thing. It's hard for me to see him as a villian, because the Patriots made him what he was.

  • Big Boss mk2: strong guy

  • i named my fallout 3 character after this guy lol badass

  • I'm a whole different game from Liquid, Brother...

  • Poor Solidus...he got screwed over really badly in MGS4

  • IM A WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME FROM LIQUID

    T_T............

  • @Arzaker when he said that, that's when you knew shit got real

  • @tom1yum2goong

    very

  • the first meeting ... shell 1 & 2 connecting bridge man that was epic.

  • Stupid machines!

  • raiden: so i guess your in charge here.

solidus: no, not just here. everywhere. i am the boss to surpass big boss himself; solid snake.

snake: NO! THAT IS NOT SOLID SNAKE!!

solidus: ah, so we finally meet, brother.

snake: shut up! your no brother of mine!

solidus: oh come now. dont tell me youve forgotten me.

  • @DimentioMaster no dork shit, you got the first three lines rite but not the rest, ill finish it off baby dick!

    solidus:what a pleasent surprise,brother

snake:Save it!your no brother of mine

    solidus:dont say you;v forgotten me

thats what it was a hole go back to playing super dimentio in mario land fag weed

  • @scorpiansting1 so, your another one of those internet pussies... i don't really give a FUCK if I got the lines wrong, I just put down the basics. DO NOT call me out by my selected username. By not cussing you out, I proved myself the bigger man. you are NOT the boss of me, homophobe.

  • @DimentioMaster wow, someone has mental problems, sorry for just correcting you pyscho path..

  • @scorpiansting1 just correcting me? dork shit, baby dick, fag weed, insulting a game that I like, insulting my metal gear knowledge, and I KNOW I got it wrong, there wasn't enough ROOM, so I left that miniscule part out. It wasn't really that important. aside from that, I haven't played MGS2 in years.

  • can anyone tell me why big boss became evil?? i just dont understand maybe il understand when i complete mgs3 im just after eating volgin so hmm

  • eating volgin???????

  • WOOPS I MEAN BEATING VOLGIN XD hahahaha

  • It's not that Big Boss ever became evil. Once you play MGS3 and MGS4 you realize that things just went completely wrong and the world view on him was just the same as how they viewed The Boss. The thing is, no one understood what he was trying to do and thus they thought he was evil.

  • oh... i dont have a ps3 so i couldent get mgs 4 well thanks for the clear up

  • He didn't become evil, he was trying to gain freedom from Patriots, Solidus was also attempting the same.

  • so i didnt complete 4 i did now XD

  • oh lol

  • @Mrarmageddon8

And as he was doing this he

    1) raised child soldiers

    2) threatened the world with nuclear weapons

    3) kidnapped and blackmailed people

    4) was an all-around arrogant asshole who tried to kill his unarmed clone

  • I love this soundtrack

  • So Solidus was the Perfect clone of the Big Boss himself. And he would have if he didn't create a killing machine out of hatred: Raiden. Raiden was the biggest mistake Solidus ever made.

Just like they say: "It is the nature of men to create monsters, and it is the nature of monsters, to destroy their makers".

  • actually yes what u say is right on solidus is an exact clone he is not part of the LET project(used to create solid and liquid).but the part ur wrong about is raiden never really hated solidus he want bearing any hatred he had forgotten all about solidus.raiden wasnt any real threat the part where raiden beat the perfect clone(with a super suit which is stronger than raidens'olga's and fox's suit combined)is just a big screwup on kojima's part well i guess its okay since its his game but still

  • Damn The Patriots! Solidus is a bad ass muthafucka!

  • There only room for one Snake and One Big Boss!!!!

  • man i admire the fuckin aggressive attitude of Solidus he is indeed a copy of his oldman god damn Villian! dont get me wrong i respect solid and liquid but they just dont have this much hate into them like solidus

  • Yeah I agreed with ya Solidus was a badass Boss and Video Game character.

  • Solidus was the good guy you know...? You *spoiler* prevented his good intentions by the will of the patriots without knowing it. What I like about MGS is that none of the bad guys were really bad, Solidus, Liquid and Solid Snake, they all tried to do the same thing in fact, they just tryed to stop eachother at the same time lol xD Not even patriots were bad guys. there were no bad guys at all in :D

  • except for major zero hes the bastard that started it all

  • Exactly, the only real bad guy was Volgin... he was just bat shit insane/ evil lol.

  • and completley oblivious to what was going on behind his back. that guy goes APE shit when you fight him, heh ametaur he thinks he's bad ass.

  • Solidus is well-ballanced clone:)

  • the bad ass mutherfucka villian in all MGS series! and shit his theme is the best!

  • @7er2003 he's not really a villain, he had good intentions, but used wrong ways to achieve them.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 Oh please, you people with that bullshit really piss me off. This is the reason we're all still in this situation. What means do you think it would take to restore this country? A walk in the park? There are no such things as wrong means in a revolution you fool.

  • @KingdomAwaits Is irradiating people with a nuclear bomb really worth it?

  • @0xCIPHERx0 Besides, he didn't cross any lines within his means. He didn't do anything more than what most of our Founders would had done. He killed his legitimate enemy on the field. Go take a look at what many of the worlds governments are doing... I don't see people like you with their "means" talk on those issues anywhere. Just a personification in a character of a second American revolution.

  • @KingdomAwaits Are civilians legitimate enemies?

  • @0xCIPHERx0 If they stand in the way of something so large, and true... than yes they are. Everyone makes sacrifices on the battlefield. A great deal of the American public is pathetic and totally submissive.

  • @KingdomAwaits This is pushing sacrifices way too far, civilians are just normal people, people that did nothing more than get controlled by said leaders, should they all pay for the mistakes of a few leaders? That liberty you will gain with such a bloodshed will have such a bitter taste that it won't even be worth it.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 That's totally not true, most of the people stirring the problems in the world are in fact, civilians. If you think that only eliminating military personnel alone is going to achieve anything in that cause, you're a fool. Most of of top positions controlling the situation are CIVILIAN POSITIONS, not military! Even politicians, they're truly just civilians to.

  • @KingdomAwaits Yes maybe they are civilians but that would be condemning all of those said civilians for a handful of civilians mistakes, innocent civilians that didn't ask for this and were in fact not even a part of this.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 Any organization or groups of civilians that work to stand in the way of the true intentions of this land are legitimate. Our Founding Fathers would be called extremists, and terrorists today by pansies or fellow lap dogs like yourself. They did target "civilians" and rightfully so. You need to drop the civilian bit, and replace it with true "innocence." Like an average family with nothing to do with anything. Yes, you need to avoid harming those people as best as possible.

  • @KingdomAwaits So now i am a lap dog and a pansy for speaking against the killing of people ?

Killing civilians is never an answer, sure those stirring conflict and creating problems should be judged, but mass murdering people for that aim is not a solution, you'll stoop as low as those you are trying to fight, war should be limited to a battlefield, and not killing those same people you are sworn to protect.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 See, what you really need to do is replace your whole "civilian" line, with the average everyday people and on the streets. In that regard, I do agree with you. Times have changed, the lines have been thoroughly blurred pertaining to the whole aspect of being a "civilian." If you're going to make or take any serious efforts in removing the giant octopus of traitors and outsiders entangling this country, its going to be really messy work. It would be quite the surgery.

  • @KingdomAwaits If that can avoid shedding blood in the name of liberty then it's worth the risk, and i do believe human decency will prevail.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 "My own affections have been deeply wounded by some of the martyrs to this cause, but rather than it should have failed, I would have seen half the earth desolated. Were there but an Adam and an Eve left in every country, and left free, it would be better than as it now is." - Thomas Jefferson.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 It's not problem for many governments to kills scores of the most innocent and downtrodden types of civilians for extremely bogus (their pocketbook) causes. Wow are you going to be bias against a true American patriot revolutionary such as Solidus, whom was trying to restore the truly greatest of all orders out of all in recordable history. You'd have to go to some pretty extreme lengths to achieve something like that at this point and time.

  • @KingdomAwaits And so you would stoop as low as those same governments you are fighting, yes maybe solidus's goals were noble indeed, but that'll leave too much blood on the hand of liberty, and i'll be quoting big boss here: you'll be trapped in a cage called liberty.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 People that work for complicate or directing major corporations, the "civilian" government, corrupted lawyers, police, churches and religious institutions subverting the land. Even personnel ignorantly standing in the way are all just as legitimate costs as a soldier on the field. These are just man made boundaries of perception for the sheep. Speaking of costly blood, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants."

  • @KingdomAwaits Add to that infants, elderly people, innocent people that work for a living that have nothing to do with all of this and you'll get a decent amount of bloodshed, that's like killing a bug with a bomb.

  • @0xCIPHERx0 What you should really be saying is "the average folks out there on the streets." That vast majority of people on this planet, from tyrants to peasants, are "civilians." The people that control most of the power currently are "civilians." If you're going to try and take any real steps to defeat this massive octopus of traitors seated with in, it's gonna get messy. That's all I'm saying! Once you take that road, you can't relent and let it all lay to waste. Solidus was the US hero.
