I'm glad that it's different now. I'm a speedskater and gay, but everyone understands it and they treat me just like anyone else.

There are a few rolemodels now in the 'skatingworld', but none of them are men.

I understand that for men it could be a bit harder te come out, 'cause guys are often like the Johnny Bravo types.

But it's about to change and that's a very good thing.
