  • Thanks for sharing this! I remember bits and pieces of it, but then I was only 7 when at EXPO67.

     It ended kind of abruptly...?

  • "a place to grow" then it shows nature being totally annihilated

  • I worked at the Ontario Pavilion at Expo '67 and must have watched this eleventeen million times but it still gives me a goosebump here and there.

  • @masslaw I can well imagine! It was a great time then! I saw it as the beginning of a new technological time in our lives! It was the first time I saw (and experienced) a water bed. It was the first time I had ate pizza! But, being 7 years old, I was a brat and kept wanting to go back to La Ronde! I feel bad now...sigh

  • As a nation we felt so incredible that year 1967. Thank you for posting this.

  • As a toronto film maker, this film which i saw at expo 67 montreal, influenced the types of films i've made over the years, One of which was given an award by christopher chapman at the 1974 festivefilms. The cinimatic multiscreen he pioneerd in this film has been used so many times since in film and television. Where on earth did you find a copy of this great live action short?

  • @jerm1959 I found it quite a few years ago at a film collector's show. It may have been the Cinefest in Syracuse, NY. I became aware of it when it was shown in one of my film classes at SU. I was at Expo '67 but was only 7 years old and can't recall everything I saw there - except for the short time everything was shut down for the Queen's visit.

  • When I see this movie a 60 foot screen at the Ontario place dome in 1971 I thought it was absolutely incredible. It lost the effect a bit, but its still great.

  • great to see a travelogue of Ontraio.

  • Thank you thank you thank you thank you!

  • Last time I saw this, was at Ontario Place in 1977. Of course it was more impressive on the Imax screen, but thanks for the memories just the same.

  • @Tigerboy83 At Expo 86 in vanocouver, Canada. They had a film they did in 3-D about Ontario. I believe it was titled Ontario: Yours To Discover.
